Could you imagine being on BC's staff? Or being Fran Brown right now? BC, Cuse, UVA, NC State, Duke, Cal ... and put FSU in that bucket. They are hopelessly behind and falling further behind.

Man...not only would we get 8mil for making the championship game, but we would also get 3.2 mil for travel expenses to our own stadium! That 3.2 would go a long way in the portal (and talent retention)
 
What will really matter is if the CFP viewership counts towards the conference monies. These two game alone will do 30 million, would put us at double the next closest.
 
Why did this just need a new thread instead of just continuing the old one.

$13M / team /yr for the ACC is the distributed amount for the CFP contract ESPN...

Based on what I read the ACC does pay out the $4M directly to the participating school in the CFP. $4M for making CFP, $4M for Quarterfinal, $6M for Semis, $6M for Championship appearance. It actually appears to be the clear best payout of any conference tbh. Think SEC pays $3M and B1G doesn't even award any bonus... but maybe that's changed.

Also each team gets $3M to cover expenses PER ROUND.

Then The Conference ALSO receives a $300k per team that meets APR and participates in a postseason game.

The conference itself already receives $5M per school for the CFP contract as a whole, and...
