Man...Kelly was holding his ownwhen he wasn't injured but he's been asked to do different in his role as a DE in Guidry's defense
Where is Harvey?
Harvey has been consistent and this has probably been his best season here
Where is Davonte Brown?
This Brown has been a mystery...he hasn't been the corner i thought he'd be here so far
Where is Damari Brown?
This Brown is a true freshman who needed to get his feet wet and maybe next year we see him take that jump and contribute more
Where is Allen?
Just got out of the doghouse
Where is Ray Ray?
Ray Ray has been out there but they've used him in gadget roles but he's played. I still think he redshirts
Where is Stafford?
Always was a redshirt candidate
Where is speed?
We aren't a overall fast team at positions. We have a couple fast individuals at certain positions that we should integrate into the offense but some are redshirt candidates

When I said where are Kelly and Harvey I had a pass rush perspective in mind. They haven't been the problem in other areas, but non existent as far as generating negative plays. Solid 2 cents. I definitely thought an emphasis was placed on speed this off-season. That’s why it caught my eye.

Laugh all you want it’s fact. Thrash at Louisville has solid speed but isn’t considered a burner. Coleman has good speed. Ncstate wrs are mid. Unc wrs have decent speed and Coleman has decent speed

I hope that holds true. I don't have verified numbers to throw out so I don't have a retort. On tape they look fast isn't sufficient enough for me to go back and forth.

I mean Harvey has been solid but Kelly not so great in pass rush when asked to. Nobody can get pressure and if they try they run by the QB and he walks for a first down.

Browns have been a mystery with spotty play from couch/davis but Davonte didn’t look good in limited snaps either

I was worried about lack of dominant edge rushers even during the winning streak. The way DEs are used doesn't inspire confidence against the better QBs we'll face.

If there is a Phillips type in the portal then they're at the top of my list along with Center.

If we can limit UNC offensively then I'll feel so much better about all 3 levels of the D.
