Players Missing.

IDK if anyone has noticed but Miami’s defense is ranked

#9 in total defense
#5 in first downs
#34 in passes intercepted
#42 in passing yards allowed
#1 in rush defense
#12 in scoring defense
#18 in team passing defense efficiency

Who cares who hasn’t been playing on defense especially freshman. The unit is getting it done.
Idk if anyone noticed but we've played Temple, BCU, GTech, OhMiami and TXam. Not exactly a who's, who of offensive juggernauts. Those stats are cool but at the end of the day, we've played 1 competent QB and he balled out.

Davonte not playing as much to me is the weirdest of all of them. Kelly and Harvey are just average players up to this point plain and simple.

Allen has to be in the doghouse because he looked really good the first few games.
Thought he was in a few times vs GT. Just wasn’t doing much

If you combined the best players from the 5 offenses we've played, a literal offensive all-star team made up from Miami (OH), A&M, Temple, Buffoon, and GT, it wouldn't be as good as UNC's offense.

This is by far, by MILES, the best offense we've faced thus far. If we hold these dudes even close to what we're running as our season averages, we're winning this game.

Meh. He didn't really ball out. He just threw the ball 100 times. He did play pretty well, don't get me wrong. Although A&M's receivers and OL are better than UNC's.

But Weigman completed 58.5 % of his passes for 6.3 YPA and a 116 rating (admittedly he had a kid fall down for a pick and threw another one in desperation time late that will knock down this number).

But those are all well below-average.

Under Longo.. sure. Bobby calls a good game and has a great scheme and Chip Lindsey is a hack. Also, their OL is probably right in line with A&M but physically weaker and much smaller on the interior.

I also think A&M's WRs, top to bottom, might be better. They have 4-5 and UNC has 2 that scare me. TE about the same. If you add in the Larvadain kid from Miami, Ohio that would be totally unfair.

Could definitely argue Maye makes up that entire difference and makes that statement true. Wouldn't rule that out.

You know what....I take it back. A&M's receivers and OL are definitely in the conversation. I would like my previous comment stricken from the record, and I will give you one (1) lap as penance.

Also had quite a few drops but I think Klubnik, Maye, Travis are better QBs. He is still the only good QB we have faced.

Nobody has the answers Fam. We will continue to leave the dynamic speed of Ray Ray and CJJr sit on the side or come in and run the most obvious plays for them.

Couch fools the staff with gifted INTs so he’s unlikely to come off the field, even if he’s getting worked.
Do you really think the others are better and Mario has them sitting on the bench? come on....

Who balled out?

Speed creates opportunities. We are missing out on opportunities and explosive plays.
I’m starting to think you should have stayed banned. Miami is averaging 7.55 yards a play. That’s right behind Washington, USC, Oregon, and LSU. And there’s no way in **** you would say those four offenses are not explosive. You’re just saying **** to say ****. And it’s pathetic dude.

Where is Kelly?
Man...Kelly was holding his ownwhen he wasn't injured but he's been asked to do different in his role as a DE in Guidry's defense
Where is Harvey?
Harvey has been consistent and this has probably been his best season here
Where is Davonte Brown?
This Brown has been a mystery...he hasn't been the corner i thought he'd be here so far
Where is Damari Brown?
This Brown is a true freshman who needed to get his feet wet and maybe next year we see him take that jump and contribute more
Where is Allen?
Just got out of the doghouse
Where is Ray Ray?
Ray Ray has been out there but they've used him in gadget roles but he's played. I still think he redshirts
Where is Stafford?
Always was a redshirt candidate
Where is speed?
We aren't a overall fast team at positions. We have a couple fast individuals at certain positions that we should integrate into the offense but some are redshirt candidates

Just my 2 cents

The question is do we trust TVD and on game day? And the answer is **** no. Who will show up? Lashlee’s TVD or Gattis’ TVD. Against A&M we got Lashlee’s TVD. Against Tech we got Gattis’. That’s what scares me the most.
You are entitled to your opinion, however stupid that may be. Farewell.
