Butch said in his interview with CaneSport from just days ago that if he ends up as our next coach, he wants to hire young, aggressive staff members who will recruit their asses off. Shannon is only 49, but he sure as **** isn't aggressive and he outright quit recruiting towards the end of his disastrous tenure here.

Doesn't add up. Hopefully this is much ado about nothing.

WRONG!
Pagano was the DC for that game. Randy was the LB coach for the Dolphins at the time.
 
Think about this.. Shannon didn't recruit all these kids, not all of them would simultaneously just become friends with RS. He isn't going to be the HC here. Somethings up

Outrecruiting Al Golden isn't an accomplishment, though. Everyone did that. And it's not like those guys went to UF because Shannon was hired as their LB coach and "co-DC."

even has DC randy hated recruited. he would just offer whole teams to ge kids to sign up together
