Players disciplining selves; Leaders foster Unity!

For me I hold out slight hope. I would rather read and hear stories like this than stories about someone else getting suspended, another player getting kicked off the team, or a story about Golden making excuses.

I don't care what the rest of you miserable ***** say. Kaaya still gets me excited. His quote assumes that the target is always on us, and once we start winning, it'll be back on us. Cane Dynasty is a moron. His schtick is not schtick. He's literally that miserable.

I was being facetious-sarcastic. Love Kaaya only being here a year and already having to put his foot down. Hate Alfredo being here exponentially longer and the same pre-season locker room narratives still being a story. So THIS is the year that immaturity and detrimental behavior won't be tolerated? Mmmmmkay. Prove it. For the first time.

The other part about Incognito was just a shot at societal soft-shoulderness and also not to be taken at face value.

Every season has a theme, right?

Every year there's something new to get hyped up about. If there isn't a legitimate reason, you better find something. That's probably what's going on here.

We went 6-7 last season. A bunch of players from that team left for the NFL. Miami has to give the media something to talk about, something for the fans to get excited about, a reason for people to believe.

In comes the "we're a whole new team" BS.

Gotcha

If Golden & D'Ono don't have to discipline for small petty crap since players are now handling, then our better players aren't stuck in doghouse for JAGs that are always punctual....that might equal to at least 2 wins, if not more.
 
forget about going 6-7 and not winning a bowl game in 10 years as the turning point, but having to wake up at 5am? thats when they really put their foot down, lol

That was the exact same theme last year. In 2014, It was "we're a brand new team" AND we will have our own identity. But I like coaches staying from that petty shlt

I want us to be great, win the ACC, and make the playoffs but there has been nothing to indicate we will see anything different on game day this season.

What we've heard so far as nothing but the same lip service we've seen from Golden and company every year so far.

Show me an aggressive, attacking one gap 3-4 or 4-3 and maybe, just maybe I'll be a little less skeptical.

Everyone is losing their **** over all of this. What do we expect them to say? Generally everything that comes out of these media days are fluff pieces. Almost nothing good can come out of these interviews. All we can hope for is that our kids put don't their foot in their mouth. It's almost like playing against a really ****** opponent: all you can hope for is that you come away without any injuries or suspensions. Everyone thinks everything is going great until the helmets start popping.

...is the season here yet?
