ESPN has so many Cane Haters it's crazy.. These ppl just don't believe what they are seeing, I guess the CFB world isn't totally ready to see Miami back at the top of CFB.. Kirk is a guy like this one week he's with our Canes and then the next he's saying something bad about our Canes!! Like the old say goes, "if you ain't with us then you against us" and it looks like Kirk is against us!!

We have a portion of CIS who thinks Herbie LOVES the 'Canes and like a battered spouse, they always are professing their love for him...Here is a sample:

In reality, Herbie is an ESECPN tool, who will do what he is told, but definitely is in the business of keeping Miami down for an obvious reason (well obvious to some, but not all): Keep Urbie recruiting well in South Florida. Here is one of my posts detailing this:

Let's not forget his numerous nationally broadcast mentions of Miami 's "decrepit" facilities (heard any revision there?)

Will the OSU Athletic Department come back LATER with the funds to re-imburse? Probably, but look a the flexibility to spend whenever they want.

By contrast, there is no Miami Hurricanes football without the University of Miami and it's a small school with no taxpayer-backed flexibility...Look at the IPF fiasco for proof. Herbie has known this and he backs up O$Ucks sales pitches to So Fla recruits by constantly talking about it.

He has also highlighted our failure to pay coaches (anything revised mentioning Mark Richt's salary? Coach Kool's?) and our stadium not being the right one for a "college atmosphere," but no mention of the upgrades. Again, reinforcing the O$UCK recruiting pitch.

I have given actual qoutes you can verify by just checking a few sources...The Herbstreit blowers give unverified anecdotal observations.

The inability of some CIS posters to recognize when someone is working you over is quite pitiful.

When you ask the CIS Suckeyestreit slurpers to provide evidence of his Miami love, the thread is bereft of evidence, just restating "Herbie loves Us"

Hatred? Understanding a person's Modus operandi and explaining it to people much less versed in the human propensity to have a hidden agenda is not hatred, especially when the person doing the explaining is close to people who would know about the agenda. Unless Kirky is showing up to your weekly therapist meetings (tell me, is your session before or after Anthony Weiner's?) you don't know squat and can't come up with any evidence to dispute me, relying on purely an ad hominem attack.

well GT kicked our *** the first quarter. god just because someone states something that is not slobbing on Miami **** does not mean he is a hater

dude always supports the canes and is usually one of the first in picking us.


I don't blame ANYONE for picking GT against us this week. probably our toughest game on the schedule remaining. ton of injuries, week after FSU, they had a bye week and a tricky offense against our previously bad run defense.

and guess what, Kirk was right until the very end. it took a miracle play on 4th and 10 for us to win. we'll take it but they were a tipped pass away from being right

shouldn't have been that close. Dude looks like he fumbled the ball out of bounds on their 1st TD and we spotted them 7 from the onside kick. They scored 3 points in last 2 quarters and were held to lows in rushing/total yards. Everything literally went their way but we simply wouldn't be denied. **** of a win.

Some of you really miss the reason for the thread.It's more about how these kids follow the media.And I also notice how often people just go off on tangents that have nothing to do with the topic.

Still don't get why folks on this site, Cane fans no less, hang on every word spewed from Kirk and the College Gameday dimwits.....haven't watched that garbage since Mark May and Trev Albert's were part of that cesspool of imbeciles....why watch it? Who cares what they think? Focus more on our lazy local "beat" reporters who have no clue on their team's injury status.

I was thinking the same thing, who in the **** even watches gameday? For a fan base that hates ESPN, we sure watch it a lot.

I worked with several Hokies and those folks are obsessed with what ESPN, and particularly the GameDay clowns, think of their
football program and whether GameDay will be on their campus.
It's some sort of affirmation to them that they follow a big-time football program.
I guess they need this because they have an empty trophy case.
We don't.
