If Beard isn't retained it means either Bryan McClendon (current interim HC at Georgia) or CMR's son is joining the staff in that capacity.
Soo dam true, with the already difficulty of getting rid of entrenched guys like Kehoe and Swazey (both have guys who will go to bat for them as far as alumni support, ugh)
I have seen guys say they want to keep Coley to recruit, Ice, Beard, and Scott. Essentially the whole dam offense and maybe one Defensive coach. Like Whhaaaa?! I would rather clean house than anything. None of these guys are irreplaceable.

This x 100. They were part of the crap show. And Golden werent the only problem, the kids have poor technique. Id get rid of every single one. Scoot kept No D and we got wiped out by UNC, plus quoting Golden stupid *** lines. Get rid of them all!!

I hope we keep Scott on staff b/c he's done a good job with the TE's and b/c I like the guy and want to see him succeed. Scott would really benefit from a season or two under a top level offensive mind, and he'll probably move on to be an OC/HC somewhere within 2 seasons anyway.
But either way, I'm all in with Richt.
