My 2016 staff under Richt would look like this.

HC - Richt
OC/TE/ST - John Lilly
Passing game coordinator - James Coley
RB/Assis HC- Bryan McClendon (Georgia)
WR - Kevin Beard
OL - Larry Scott
DC/Assoc HC- Bryan Van Gorder (Notre Dame)
DL - Tracy Rocker/Chris Wilson (USC west)
LB - Hurlie Brown
DB - Willie Martinez (Tennessee)

Wilson would be an interesting pickup from USC. Has SEC ties (UGA/Miss St.) and DC experience as well as ST coach experience. Would be a good one if Rocker doesn't come.

If I may ask, why Lilly over BMac for OC?

Experience, game planned and called a game before, just a feeling that Richt would give him that spot as a title. And for everyone saying Coley wouldn't stay on for that position. Go look at Michigans staff. They have two people from Al Goldens failed program. Jedd Fisch is the passing game coordinator, he, Harbaugh and Drevin make the game plan and Fisch works with qbs with Harbaugh.

I would be surprised if Coley stays. He came here to call plays. DnO is out obviously. I imagine Richt will bring pretty much an entirely new staff, but might keep either Beard or Scott.

Why are people worried that most of these guys stay? That literally almost never happens when a new coach comes in. Let a lone a big name coach.

He is gonna want his own guys, not a bunch of dudes who should be coaching in HS.

Sherrer will probably be on this staff in some capacity. Name I have seen consistently left off of mock coaching staff threads.

Same reason we had to start threads about Mario and Strong. The locals and the imbeciles won't stop begging for every corch on the planet.

I think so too. UGA fans were saying the guys a future DC so I think Richt will want him on the staff.

I'd like to see Hurlie stick around. Good recruiter who I don't think was completely infected by Golden's culture.

Seems like he's been doing a lot of traveling/visits with Richt.
