Whats even better is when we max protect with drop 8.. So we can have 2-3 man routes being double triple covered.. lol

But there’s often an open guy.. TVD just can’t read defenses and see the holes. He can’t go through progressions. If he could at least take off and run it would be a lot easier for him because you would have to waste a whole body to spy him. They would not be able to sit back and make him think

Here’s where I get confused.
I keep reading that defenses are packing the box, making it tough for our ground game.
Then I read that they are dropping eight in coverage.
Can both be true at the same time?

Sure it can if you are behind schedule. Tyler has been late on his progressions at times or just baited into some coverages where he is forcing the ball.
