Negotiations could be happening... I mean fat Al isn't giving up his money, but if it's the money related to being fired now vs. dec 1 it's feasible he'd walk away from that to not have to be a lame duck for a month.

The guy coaching Miami next week is currently employed by Miami. Who the f*ck thinks Butch or any other outside coach would be hired and on the sideline next week?

Nobody ever said that Butch was going to be coaching against Duke. Schools never hire a coach midseason that comes in and takes over. It doesn't happen. But in reality if you think Butch, or your "source" thinks Butch won't be considered then you are clueless. The greatest college football roster ever assembled was assembled by this guy. And he is available. Multiple reports have said the BOT is torn between wanting him or not. If I had to guess, the ones that actually give a **** about football understand what he could do here, and that he has unfinished business. The ones that are going to fork out the money for the football coach want him, the ones that don't want him are concerned about the medical school, or whatever. Not saying he is going to be the coach, but even if Blake tries to go elsewhere, Butch is going to push hard for the job himself. It's more realistic than you would understand.
