My wife's uncle is a regular member of the Board of Trustees. Local members were asked to come to campus at 3:30 PM today (he lives in Ft. Lauderdale). He is in Boston at his daughter's parents weekend and isn't flying back until tonight, so he was asked if he could call in to join a meeting by phone. We were told this at about 9:30 this morning by his wife. National members were asked to call in as well.

The sticking point is just what we've heard: firing him now is more expensive than firing him later. There is not one member who still openly supports Golden, so just like within our fan base, there is no longer a question of "if". It's only "when".

And when the news hits, Blake James will be the one announcing it, as though it was his call. But it won't be.

(just hoping for once someone actually knows ****, will say that when I reached to a couple of high in the AD contacts they didn't try to defend as usual, even if they didn't say anything bad.... Means **** I know but I'm grasping for a ray of light)

This is a national **** storm for the program. Even NFL announcers are throwing in their comments, seeing as the Dolphins just thumped the Texans the same way we were raped by Clemson yesterday - so naturally they need to bring it up.

Again, Golden is open to negotiate. He and his family want out. He won't be able to live in Miami until December. It's time to go.

I guarantee you Golden fires some of the offensive staff, but leaves Williams and Dorito employed.

He's still a student he probably doesn't want to break the info and get banned by the school instead of just being banned by Golden.

I just heard something similar from one of my contacts.
 
To add fuel, on "the other" board, someone wrote they saw Butch at the airport 10:30 this a.m. and he was not on the show he is normally on this morning.
