He played the Ferman game in 2013 and got Ferman results. I like the Pete of the last two years who breaks commitments seconds after the "Welcome to the U" goes out.

So I guess now folks can confirm he sources were real, and not a street agent as many theorized.

I don't post like I used to, but rarely go out there. I previously confirmed my statement above was fact, cause I seen it with my own eyes.

I know the progress he made, and his reputation was solid. The new folks will reach out to him in time, and make sure they have a "back door" outlet to say what they can't say openly, and they will seek the no nonsense approach of a Pete, that isn't getting paid to make **** up as compared to others in the media and I make stuff up Ferman. It is going to take time to build that though.

Till then, Pete is going to have to use the recruits he has built a relationship with, both inside and newly coming in.

After drinking from that fountain of misinformation, you can either viciously berate him for being wrong all the time or throw that big internet arm over his shoulder and hug him up like a retarded drama queen welcoming his husband back from battle.

He didn't break the hiring. Was 1st reported on Georgia board by a poster who was a Richt family friend. Pete just read it and tweeted out.

That random Georgia poster must be the same source who told Pete that Golden was likely fired hours before he got canned. Or the source who helped Pete break so many commitments and coaching moves.

If Pete was just copying and pasting internet rumors, any slapdick with a computer could've broken the Richt hire. Of course, that didn't happen.

I wasn't speaking to the Golden firing or the recruiting commitments. But it was READILY apparent, that NO ONE on the UM side had any connections/sources once the old staff was canned. Look at all the rumors on the coaching search for evidence. Go back and check the timeline. The Richt hire was confirmed by a UGA poster (who had previously been right on the Richt firing) on their board and Pete took it and ran with it and put it out on twitter. Good for him, but saying he BROKE the story is disingenuous.

Pete wasn't relying on coaching sources for the Golden firing or the Richt hiring. That's above their heads.

I know who he was talking to. And those sources, while not involved in the day-to-day recruiting grind, are as strong as ever.

The more you defend Pete, the more you narrow down his source by making statements like this.

You, of all people, should know that this site is crawling w/ AD plants, moles, and clowns.

I'd suggest you gracefully bow out before you inadvertently expose Pete's source(s).
 
As long as Pete doesn't give bad information (like Ferman does) I am ok with whatever he does. To me what Ferman does is far worse. Not to mention, none of you bleeps are contributing anything for this information. Pete, although a little douchey, is a kid who is trying to establish himself. Take it easy.
