Well said. I know the board is 50/50 on this, so we're never going to get agreement but put me down for 'this looks like ****'. Some people don't care what they wear, some of us do. I think when you decide what to wear for your wedding or an important job interview you go with your best. You don't go with some alternate look that no one has seen before. This game is big enough that we should be wearing the iconic helmet and the orange/white combo. But clearly Nike thinks differently so we cave to their wishes. Sad.
 
The Orange Helmet is by far the worst of all of them. Let's hope it brings us good luck. Wanted to see the traditional white or the black helmet. Oh well just effing win I don't care.
 
this **** is sad why would u mess with the original helmet. u can do what u want with uniforms especially for a ******* FSU game unbelievable

and haven't we been killed every time we put on those clown helmets?

Those helmets are the WOAT. Congratulations -- instead of respecting our tradition we are now just another team that fans look at and say "oh, they're doing the crazy uniform thing like Oregon."
 
"This game is big enough" PLEASE! Stop it with uniforms having any baring what so ever on the performance of our players. Completely and utterless meaningless in regards to how they play. Like them or don't like them. That's all good, however stop acting like its actually going to effect how we perform on saturday.

I don't get it either. Everyone knew this was coming. It was inevitable. Had since April to make peace with it. Treating it like it was sprung on them today.
 
White lid over Orange Jersey over white pants!! It's FSU week!!!

That said, I could care less about what we wear, and the smoke jerseys are dope

Because many were hoping that some of the possible combinations would never see the light of day.

So they tout all the combinations. You watch the players react to them. Players have some say in what they wear and you thought you weren't going to see them? Seems like a logical way to go about things.

I'm all for players doing what they want with this. One of the few things they have control of after they sign on the line to play.

they think that if we are in are old uniforms some how we will play like the 2001 team because when we were great that is the only uniform we knew... Pretty pathetic fan base. I dont wanna be Penn State, Notre Dame and Alabama with those old outdated uniforms. I love the Smoke...as long as that U is still on the helmet Im gucci..Thats what were known for not for uniform combos

Almost like some don't have any style. The uniforms look good.
