Aren't we recruiting Davis as a LB now.I can't imagine passing on Payton with his great measurables at DE for a 6-1 situational DE in Davis.

Nobody is claiming he picked fsu over miami.The concern is taking Davis over him at DE unless Davis is coming in at LB.
