What about his frame? He has a narrow waist and narrow shoulders for a defensive end, let alone a DT. Are people looking at the same guy? He is built like an overgrown linebacker, not an overgrown DE.

Personally i think we should go with a 1 DT, 3 DE alignment. To prepare for next year when we might lose all of our top 5 DT.

The slash position is something i made up that denotes a fast, quick twitch 265lb ish DT that can evade fat lumbering interior OL and wreak havoc in the backfield.
