"Bad gameday coach? So what?! He'll just recruit around it!"

"He'll keep the local guys home!"

"He loves the U! He'll never leave!"

"What about that guy's defense?!"

"How could that guy possibly recruit South Florida with that personality? That wouldn't fly down here!"

"We need a guy that understands what it means to be a Cane! Not some gimmicky nonsense!"

"Culture! Discipline!"

Don't play it "safe" for once, Miami.

Don't allow your fear of the unknown subsume you. Take the big swing NOW that you were always too afraid to take before.

It has nothing to do with the loss last night........ But I'm all aboard the LANE TRAIN!

I think the key benefit of Mario is the likelihood of Highsmith being involved and being part of this is far higher. Probably the only scenario that Zo works out.

Can’t rule out what a premier talent evaluator with his Rolodex could do for us. I don’t think someone with that oversight and authority flies with anyone other than Cristobal

But I agree.. Lane is the better coach.. unless Mario hires some killer coordinators
Will Zo make that big of an effect on the program? Will he help sure but I feel like the only reason people want Zo is cause it was rumored to happen last year but manny didn’t allow it and everybody hates manny now. I’m fine with either lane or Mario both have some questions mark on there resumes.

I'm torn on Cristobal. Pros- Great recruiter that would fiercely keep all the local 5-star talent home. The biggest Pro, IMO, when it pertains to Cristobal is the heavy emphasis he puts on controlling and dominating the line of scrimmage. This is something that we've ignored for a very long time...we MUST get back to owning the trenches again. Con- The biggest thing that worries/concerns me about Cristobal is I've noticed a trend of playing down to the competition and losing games, or struggling with teams he shouldn't. This is something we know all too well here lately and it gives me pause for concern regarding Mario. Originally I was on the Mario train but I've recently exited and I'm all aboard the Lane train. We all know the #1 issue with Kiffin is that he won't be here long, but I don't care. We just need someone to right the ship quickly and we'll worry about that when/if he leaves.

I’ll take a ticket on the Lane train. I think his bravado would be a good fit for us. I’m not convinced he wants to go back to the nfl. I suppose he could, but I get the feeling he’s kinda like Nick, got heat up and would rather not go back for more considering there’s plenty of $ to be made in CFB.

Ok first off, no coach is a 100% guarantee. I like Lane, and would be totally in with the guy. Utah was a ranked team. Yes the manner of the loss is bad. But i dont know if Oregon is some Bama and UGA level talented squad with big margins for error. For 1, i do not rate that QB. And i seen him in other games. Cristobal is not Shannon, so that dumb stuff needs to go. Also Cristobal wont come with Pat Nix as OC. If people gonna talk down a man's good deeds and only bring up the bad, it goes for Lane as well....whom i love as a coach. Cristobal would have success here, so would Lane. If the admin back either. Im gucci either way. U can't down play a team travelling from Oregon and lighting the buckeyes up to only big up getting handled at Utah. Oregon is a incomplete team. They are not in UGA, Bama or Taint league talent wise in their upper ranks and particularly at QB. U seen what happen when we move from King to TVD. Look at Clemson this season. U need the QB.

mods how a original lounge member get banned on here, need to holla @ChrisLamar757 about this thread man.. Free the man, he called his shot forreal..

I have decided that the only stat that matters re: Kiffin now is that he has multiple 10-win seasons with his first recruiting class at an off-brand school in the SEC West and Miami has one single 10-win season during 19 years in the ACC.
