Would take him no doubt. Knighton is fairly small and Chaney has had a lot of injuries. Both a really good when they see the field no doubt. But look at Bama this year. They had like 4 really good rbs go down with injuries this year. Need a solid 3-4 rbs that you can trust on the roster. I think that’s can be good but I’d rather not go into the season hoping Thad improves and go get a guy who is proven to be solid. Don’t think Parrish is some elite back but he’s a **** good number 3 guy on the roster

And you think Parrish is any bigger? He was smaller than Knighton.

That’s a bold face ******* lie. Only reason Knighton had so many touches was because Don got hurt.

Y’all are white knighting him because he’s from here. He’s not that good and probably would’ve been 5th on this depth chart. Plus trevonte Citizen is miles better than him.

I love Chaney and Rooster, but I want to see them average 5 yards per carry before we declare the RB room stacked.

Parrish was 5.3 last year on decent volume. Chaney is a career 4.6. Knighton was 3.9 last year. Too low for backs with their explosiveness.
Hard to succeed when Lashlee’s run-scheme consists of announcing a run play 2 seconds before the ball touches the RB.

Maybe so, but Cam never averaged less than 5 ypc.
Homerun hitter. Elite speed. I like cam but he also has the widest standard deviation of any UM back in recent memory. Not everyone’s cup of tea.

I also think lashlee did him a great disservice. Cam is built for a stretch run scheme. He would have been amazing in Erickson’s single back. The modern stretch that mcvay runs, getting the defense going horizontal and then let the back find a seam and explode. Some nfl team is going to have a diamond in the rough if they give him proper coaching.

Gtfo here with that nonsense. What have our RB’s done??? Tell me please because last time I checked, Cam Harris couldn’t break an open field tackle if his life depended on it. Don can’t stay healthy. Cody brown is cheeks and a half. Thad couldn’t get on the field because he wouldn’t stay away from the all you can eat buffet. Open your eyes! Our running back room isn’t good. Knighton was literally the only one we could depend on and like I said Henry Parrish as ole miss’s 4th RB had a comparable season.

If that doesn’t show you how trash that room is idk what will.

Out here praising dudes that ain’t done a **** thing while putting down Parrish that’s averaged over 5.5 yards a carry in the SEC West! You are a clown lol

This. And people just assume Don will be the same when he gets back. Nobody knows. We do know Knighton can't carry the load.

For the last decade our fans have gotten love drunk over potential. Where I’m from potential means you ain’t done shyyt. Give me guys that produce. I’m tired of talking about what guys can be.

Cam Harris is a below average RB.
Don Chaney has the potential to be a great RB.
Rooster was an above average RB last year. D$ makes a good point regarding ypc with him. He’s gotta do better before he’s crowned as a good or great rb.

I don’t think we should hit the portal for RB. Far more important positions to attack portal for imo. Rather get an extra Cb than a RB.
