2 straight years of this. Miami is taking two rbs this cycle right? It’ll be longer than most thought with Don. 6-8 weeks was the original timeline but it’s going to be later in the year, if at all.
I‘d expect two2 straight years of this. Miami is taking two rbs this cycle right?
A healthy Chaney is still better than him but he can’t get on the field smh
As long as Jake Garcia starts Miami has a chance.
Lmao they’re gonna run thad 45 times like he’s Derrick Henry
Do you think any current running backs (no names needed) head to the portal or go pro? If not, how do we sell two guys getting in line behind 5 others... other than saying "look how much our running backs get hurt so you may get a chance"I‘d expect two
I agree, but this season it’s even worse. The number of injuries at the RB and WR spot is like nothing that I’ve ever seen at the U. Just way to many injuries to our skill position players. Not calling anyone out or trying to dig up receipts, but I feel like we’ve been saying the same thing about every strength coach/staff for yeaaaars.
I could definitely see a guy or two leaving. It’s college football 2022Do you think any current running backs (no names needed) head to the portal or go pro? I had hoped for depth purposes, assuming health, Don + rooster or Parrish would have the kind of seasons they could both hit the draft to free up space for a replacement of both types in Johnson and Fletcher, but now that clearly won't be the case and everyone will need a healthy season to prove themselves to scouts.
Walden time also4 injured scholarship backs. We are so cursed. Stanley is about to get serious burn and he makes Parrish look like Berlin Jesse owens
Maybe being down to only one scholarship RB (Thad) will force Mario/Gattis/Ponce to change up the game plan.
That’s what a poster warned about this spring. We should have seen this coming.
At Oregon, dudes went down like flies, too. I don’t know how Feld is training his players, but there’s a high rate of injuries and attrition. It’s happening here now. It can’t be a coincidence.
I thought he could be back for ACC play but not hearing a thing about him so I assume that's a no go, if he misses the full season I doubt we ever see him take another snap here after thatI would be shocked if Chaney plays this year.
Change to what...fullback runs? Oh I know....they will have TVD do qb sweeps like Lamar JacksonMaybe being down to only one scholarship RB (Thad) will force Mario/Gattis/Ponce to change up the game plan.
I think its more likely how Mario runs practices that has the RB room looking like the ERWe should have seen this coming.
