Parrish Injury?

It’ll be longer than most thought with Don. 6-8 weeks was the original timeline but it’s going to be later in the year, if at all.
2 straight years of this. Miami is taking two rbs this cycle right?

Any time you change coaches @Cribby is correct and it could go (3) years.
New everything from top to bottom in changes, plus the players you may not be the ones to adjust do easily as we saw in the total collapse.

Mario needs his players for his team and this takes time.

Usually this school usually fires coaches before there plan has a chance to complete and this is repeated constantly just making coaches rich as they go to other teams getting TWO paychecks.

Mario is the REAL DEAL for the task but the problem isn’t the coaches it’s the KIDS whom can’t adjust so they freak and collapse like TVD and others.

We could experience a losing season a real possibility then as Mario gets HIS players we’ll begin to get back to a competitive team but right now NOT.

Let Coach Mario do his thing he’ll get STUDS like we’re seeing he just needs 2-3 years to do it.

As long as Jake Garcia starts Miami has a chance.

First off, let me start by taking back every bad thing I have ever said about Henry Parrish even back in his Columbus High days. I trashed the kid. Didnt think he was on the level of Chaney and Knighton. And he has singlehandidly saved our RB room and we will absolutely miss his presence. Hes been a Godsend.

And for a guy like Thad Franklin..he wants to be the man? This is his time. We need him NOW. We need to start giving these kids tough love and telling them they need to show up for us. No more babysitting. Parrish is out? Franklin needs to pick up the slack now. We depended on Parrish so much we wore the poor kid out. Time for Franklin and his 6'0 240lb body to take the reins and put this offense on his back. Its now or never for me with him. Hes a workhorse type back. Time to prove it.

I‘d expect two
Do you think any current running backs (no names needed) head to the portal or go pro? If not, how do we sell two guys getting in line behind 5 others... other than saying "look how much our running backs get hurt so you may get a chance"

I had hoped for depth purposes, assuming health, Don + rooster or Parrish would have the kind of seasons they could both hit the draft to free up space for a replacement of both types in Johnson and Fletcher, but now that clearly won't be the case and everyone will need a healthy season to prove themselves to scouts.

Not calling anyone out or trying to dig up receipts, but I feel like we’ve been saying the same thing about every strength coach/staff for yeaaaars.
I agree, but this season it’s even worse. The number of injuries at the RB and WR spot is like nothing that I’ve ever seen at the U. Just way to many injuries to our skill position players.

I could definitely see a guy or two leaving. It’s college football 2022

We should have seen this coming.

At Oregon, dudes went down like flies, too. I don’t know how Feld is training his players, but there’s a high rate of injuries and attrition. It’s happening here now. It can’t be a coincidence.
I think its more likely how Mario runs practices that has the RB room looking like the ER
