I campaigned hard for him out of HS.

Smart move as you don't put up the kind of numbers he did and not have it. Rooster was my number one local, but Parrish was number two. Its crazy to think after all the debate, we have both with Chaney on the roster.

Mario said it was a minor soft tissue thing. He looked like he was going to be ready but it was close so they decided to just let him sit this one out and make the call when they are sure.

Parrish just trains every day the X way , when you train like this and you number is called performing is on instinct and your training goes on automatic pilot with no thinking to slow you down.

Now we have to stud RB starting in Parrish and Thad with depth that knows they’ll also be in the rotation.

We’re in good hands with Parrish he plays with passion ( love) , Parrish has no pride replacing it it with Passion it’s amazing what happens when you dump your selfish pride for Passion for others .

You see it glaring bright in his play , you see it when Parrish is gassed he’ll pull himself out do NOT to hurt his team enough so he gave up a TD for Thad to do the honors.

THAT IS LOVE PASSION FOR HIS TEAM .

I get your point, but we also put up 63 points on offense, and scored a TD on every possession except one. We did what we should have done to that team and it is refreshing.

People here wanted to trash Parrish despite never seeing him play a single down. Too many people fall in love with favorite recruits and can’t fathom the idea that a more productive player might come in and take their playing time.

And to that point, Parrish and Thad did their job. Others got in late. Life was good.

Thad is gonna get better as the year goes on as well. You can see he’s still learning at times. I think when it all comes together he’s gonna be a monster.

He has a soft tissue injury. They sat him out to limit the risk of the soft injury getting worse.

I imagine we see him get a few carries against Southern Miss so that he's ready for AtM.

I wanted him also but not over Chaney and knighton. So maybe I deserve some crow there as I had him third in that list. Chaney can’t stay healthy and knighton doesn’t have the nuance to his game yet but is a good player
