Panther tears

I was at that game in Pittsburgh in 2003, too. It was absolutely freezing that night. The Pittsburgh tailgate parties consisted of fires in oil barrels under highway over passes.

Antrel Rolle owned Fitzgerald and held him to 3 catches for 26 yards, although he did get the garbage TD to keep his TD streak alive.
That’s amazing haha

Yeah I grew up used to the cold but even that night was rough

Add one more win to this.

Miami leads the all-time series, 28-11-1. Pittsburgh has a 3-2 record against when they are ranked and Miami is unranked. The Hurricanes are 13-6 in Pittsburgh and 6-1 at Heinz Field. The Miami football team has won five of the last six against Pittsburgh.
Temperature-related narratives in football are fools gold.

Pitt beat a probation laden Miami team in 1997 on a Thurs night game at Pitt, they got another win in 2015, and the most recent win came in in 2017.
I was at that 97 game. God**** Pistol Pete Gonzalez!

Would be interesting to know the record during the Marino years. We were an independent then and being coached by Howard, if memory serves.

I was In Pittsburgh for a game in the mid 90s while I was a student in dc. What a sh1thole campus and city. I’ve heard it’s gotten much better but back then, I challenge anyone to find a ****tier city

Philadelphia. No other city comes close for ****tiness. Many years ago I went to visit my (ex)girlfriend's family in Philly for the first time. 10 min after leaving the airport, some guy in the passenger seat in the car in front of us leans out his window and starts projectile vomiting. Then five minutes later we are sitting at a stoplight and I look to my left, and there were five teenagers literally stomping on another kids face. It wasn't a fistfight- kid was getting murdered. I asked my (ex) girlfriend if I should call 911 and she said, "I guess, but the cops aren't going to do anything." I called 911, and the operator- no joke - just said "Yeah" when she answered the phone. I had to ask, "Is this 911?“ Operator just said" Yeah" again. Told her a kid was getting beaten to an inch of his life. Her response: "OK, what do you want me to do about it?". I f#cking hate that city. Bill Burr summarized Philly 10000x better than anyone in his infamous rant.

Ok..think of Philly but with more poor people on drugs..with no tourist spots...and an even higher violence and murder rate...you have Camden
