Pagano's days are numbered in Indy.

Can someone explain to me why Pagano?

Success in the NFL as a big time coordinator with Baltimore. 3 very successful years as a Head coach in the NFL. Has the likeable personality for recruits and boosters.. I guess he is a pretty good ****ing coach if you look at his career record in the NFL...WTF is he not worth consideration?

he coaches in the afc south and the colts win that by default because the other teams are absolutely putrid. his head coaching record is insanely inflated.

He is more qualified than anyone on anyone's coaching list except Butch and Mark Richt. And I don't even know if Richt is on a list except mine.

Posted the following in the Cristobal thread a few weeks ago:

"Cristobal could've stayed. Didn't. Not that I blame him, but that tossed his "Miami guy" cred - which is all he had going for him.

I'm hoping Richt gets canned. Would be stupid move by UGA, but they've always had delusions of grandeur."

People say he wins because he's in the AFC South. In 2013 he beat the Seahawks and Broncos, both teams who played for the Super Bowl, the 49ers who were NFC runner up, and the Chiefs twice. They beat two more playoff teams and went on the road and beat Denver to get to the AFC title. I don't think he's had particularly talented teams to work with either.

I also think people are foolish when they compare the NFL to college. We've seen "average" or "mediocre" NFL guys do extremely well in college. Besides the obvious ones, Jim Mora comes to mind recently.

And the idea that people are advocating Mario ******* CRISTOBAL over Chuck Pagano is mind blowing.

Dumber fanbase in America

No but I think I like Mario may have more potential @ the U than Pagano. Would much rather have Butch, Chud or Schiano and Mario as AHC tho
