Our trap game is Georgia Tech...

When you are a 5-3 team with losses @ Cincy and embarrassed by Clemson, there are no "trap games" We aren't good enough right now to have "trap games"

Lol how can we have a "trap game" when we are 5-3?

A trap game is based on the expectation we will win a game, or are overlooking a game, when the reality is data/facts show that we should be careful.

And have you seen these boards recently? CIS forums are talking about winning out, playing in the ACC Champ game and getting a decent bowl game. Meanwhile, Coach D'onofrio is still around... Just saying be careful of wishful thinking.

Think the next four games could be traps...Va looks like the only sure thing...I noticed the entire team on an upbeat after Duke game, for the first time in a long time...Just hope they can keep it up for the last four games..

Their offensive line shouldn't dictate the interior like they did last season. If we allow it to happen it will be ultra pathetic because the B back position has struggled all year. Last season the B back production allowed countless big plays to develop on the outside. Now that happens maybe once per game. For example, last week against Virginia they had a 49 yard touchdown run early in the game, but the second longest rush from anybody on the team was 9 yards. Not a misprint. They couldn't break anything. Georgia Tech has two offensive linemen injured and they also are fumbling at much higher rate than last season, when they really limited the gaffes.

On defense their best lineman got hurt last week and another guy was suspended. I'm not sure if he'll return against the Canes. The freshman class looks scrappy and productive but too much is required of them right now.

In short, it is a team with lots of issues. Georgia has also had a disappointing season but they could get well in a hurry in a revenge game weeks from now against this crew. Hard to say how much focus Georgia Tech will have for our game, if they are already eliminated from bowl consideration.

Let's be honest with ourselves. It's much more likely this team goes 1-3 or 0-4 then it is 3-1 or 4-0.

We're actually still stuck in a trap somewhere in Cincy living off horrible Skyline Chili scraps. Haha, trap game. C'mon. The rest of this season is just fluff. Just enjoy any positives that you see or can cherrypick and hope they're built upon by the next head coach instead of worrying about any potential pitfalls this year.

i don't think we've successfully stopped any option attempts any offenses have made, the GT game will come down to whether we can get some stops and score so we get them out of rhythm.. they will put up a bunch of yards though.
