Our *potential* OC hire impacts the next 5 years of the program...

LOL.. I made this comment yesterday. If he isn't set on the NFL, hiring him is a no brainer especially if we are telling fans via the media we can pay $1M plus for an OC. QB coach/OC for the University of Miami making $1M as a bachelor on South Beach? Laaaawd..

When was this interview?

I don’t even care if it’s a 1 or 2 year rental I want to show the world what we can do with a modern offense

Is it true his agent reached out to us? Jesus we land him and its a HOME RUN!

If Daboll leaves Bama Saban is going to go after him. If this as_hole wants to win he better make some moves! If he does nothing than we know he doesn't care about winning.

As Always, the first step is to admit there is a problem.

There has been nothing to make us believe Mark thinks anything is wrong beyond the players "executing."

The air-raid offense would be interesting with South Florida skill players. Think we've been saying that the last 10 years.

I truly believe this.

If we make a successful OC hire, no matter what the name is, I believe the program can pick up from where it left off before last year's Pitt game. I don't care if it's Yost, Briles, Dillingham or whoever. If the man Richt brings in to call plays turns the offense into a successful unit, we're right back on track.

However, if Richt doesn't make a change at OC and things remain status quo, I believe what we saw this year becomes the norm for the rest of Richt's tenure. So that would be another year or two of mediocrity. And if that medicority continues, when Richt is eventually let go in 2020 or 2021, we'll have to endure another coaching change; and to be honest I'm sure if the program can survive another rebuild.

It's imperative that Richt, not only hires an OC, but hires one that is actually successful at Miami.
Richt doesn’t even realize that how we snap the ball is idiotic and puts us at a disadvantage, let alone layering WR routes

@Roman Marciante has detailed Richt’s playcalling and play design enough..... there is enough evidence that a JV high school coach could figure out Richt’s playbook.

Offense in 2016- 57 th in the country
Offense in 2017- 60th in the country
Offense in 2018- 93 rd in the country

Richt needs to to make moves as we have not gotten better and Searles cannot develop our young Linemen.
