I know he isn't a high 1st round pick, but look at what Lock did while Darnold was out. In the right environment, people who have been cast off can be successful. It helps when you have a good cast of characters around you because nobody wins or looks good on their own in this game.
 
I see a lot of ppl blaming it on the environment, which definitely plays a factor, but he clearly had red flags in his game. His throwing mechanics, deep ball accuracy, decision making, all had question marks, not saying he can’t improve in those areas, but they were there before he got to the Titans and now they’re exacerbated.

I’m surprised by how bad he is struggling, but not surprised he is struggling. Idk about yall, but holding the ball and big play hunting was not going to work at the next level. the game is faster and windows are smaller. I also never looked at him as a qb who could drop dimes all over the field.

Agreed. You also have guys like Mahomes and Jackson who went into great situations and got to sit and wait their turn and then became MVP guys.

You got a guy like Herbert who lit it up coming in and now is playing worse than Cam. Also Maye is looking horrible from just a year ago he was in talks for the MVP. I don’t think those guys are bust or can’t play in the league.
 
That L is on Cam. He's overthinking out there. Easy to do when you have sheety HCs, OCs and WRs.
 
I was reading about his performance but d*mn. A change of scenery could help, still he's missing and not even identifying open receivers.

He should've thrown the ball away on that last play to give them another chance. Cam isn't agile enough of a runner like a Lamar to run it in there; Reese would have k*lled him.

I was concerned the day that the Titan's drafted Cam Ward, it's a terrible franchise. They have a long history of mismanaging and wrecking QB's'. The fans never truly accepted McNair. Jeff Fisher wrecked Vince Young, Vrabel wrecked Mariota, Tannehill, Malik Willis. They hire Callahan as HC, saddle Cam with a 2nd year inept Head Coach, then fire him and bring in Robert Saleh, a DC to develop a young QB with Dabol as the OC. The franchise is a joke from the very top to the bottom. I feel terrible for Cam, he deserved much better. This year, bad Oline (still), Tate is not a #1 WR, Ayomanor drops as many as he catches, RB's are up and down. It's a real mess.

That seemed to be the plan, he was not this bad to end last season. Even though he was much better to end the season than many other QBs, the media/fans had negative tone towards him all off season, I said it before the season started it didnt make sense. Idc who you are but for a young QB tryin to grow, none of this is surprising. This is the result they wanted..

And post is not to say Ward is perfect and without fault but to develop a young QB takes alot and it still might not happen. To expect a QB to come in and have all that bad around hima and negativity and expect a good result doesnt make sense to me.
 
I still beileve Cam can get it done but most likely with a new team. I dont care what some analytical map is being shown..

When the live bullets are out you can def get ptsd, last yr gave Cam had one of the toughest rookie schedules ive seen, im sure if some of yall played behind that line some of yall would be screaming take me out coach instead of put me in coach. One thing he did well is not become a "turnover problem" with all the weapons at his disposal a moniker alot of ppl claim Cam is but he never through 10 plus ints.

Yes, Cam has made mistakes. what NFL quarterback hasn't? But they are losing as a team, Cam is not the sole problem of the titans.
