OL is awful, no WRs. Those issues have taken a toll on him. You can tell he aint comfortable even when he has time he looks panicked expecting the protection to break down. Cam aint the first and wont be the last but most times its the organizations that fail the QB and not the other way around for these top picks. Sam Darnold is a classic case.

I know he isn't a high 1st round pick, but look at what Lock did while Darnold was out. In the right environment, people who have been cast off can be successful. It helps when you have a good cast of characters around you because nobody wins or looks good on their own in this game.

I see a lot of ppl blaming it on the environment, which definitely plays a factor, but he clearly had red flags in his game. His throwing mechanics, deep ball accuracy, decision making, all had question marks, not saying he can’t improve in those areas, but they were there before he got to the Titans and now they’re exacerbated.

Agreed. You also have guys like Mahomes and Jackson who went into great situations and got to sit and wait their turn and then became MVP guys.

You got a guy like Herbert who lit it up coming in and now is playing worse than Cam. Also Maye is looking horrible from just a year ago he was in talks for the MVP. I don’t think those guys are bust or can’t play in the league.
