I will not I think it is a disaster waiting to happenEmbrace the inevitable, amigo...
WhyI will not I think it is a disaster waiting to happen
Ok....I bet you his WR would disagree. I have seen hail mary passes spend less time in the air. Floating that would get picked off by any decent team.He didn’t float it

Just one man's opinion:
He's off platform and a touch late/throw over the middle, but if anything, the outside receiver ran the wrong route which brought the safety into the equation there.
This reeks of ChatGPTJust one man's opinion:
- CJ Bailey is still a developmental prospect. yes perhaps he has "high upside" but he is still learning to process defenses. We need a QB who can be great in 2026 not wait til 2027
- We should be in running for a top 5 junior/senior type based on our Cam Ward Carson Beck history with QB's. He isn't top 5 in this portal IMO - both those guys just needed some shine and change of opportunity and had almost fully polished mechanics
- He tends to hold the ball looking for the "home run" rather than checking it down but he is not Cam Ward skill-wise to get away with it. In Miami’s offense, which relies on rhythm and quick triggers to negate pass rushes, a quarterback who takes bad sacks kills drives. In fact that is our fear if we get in 3rd and long tomorrow even with Carson- just more the INT route
- his interceptions often come in "hero ball" situations where he forces throws into coverage when trailing - no bueno even if in theory we should't be trailing often
- impatience against shell coverages - when teams force him to be patient and throw underneath, he gets frustrated and erratic (see Miami game in part). Bailey has not proven he has the discipline to pick them apart systematically like a veteran would. again developmental imo
- give me a QB with NFL draft buzz who wants one final year to boost their stock (the Carson Beck/Cam Ward path).
other than that I'm good
Whatever you say — Mr. BaileyThis reeks of ChatGPT
I think the only way you go for him is if you don’t think you’re gonna have the team to go for it in 2026 which means Mario would be conceding taking the step back which I just don’t see happeningHe still needs a lot of work. I'm not sure if he'd be good enough for us next season if he were the guy.
Understand the point, but I don’t think money is an issue right now. In fact, I think money has come even further in on the back of the success this year getting even just into the playoffs from everything I’m aware of.The biggest positive about Bailey is that he'd come cheap so we could allocate more to Edge, LB and TE
I think it would be a pick 6 against quite a few teams. Floating that ball is what got his WR hurt
I get where you a coming from but there isn’t a ward/beck type this year. Yea he still has developing to do but why can’t he work on some of those things before next season?Just one man's opinion:
