Cooney is not getting on the field at Oregon or Louisville - Taggert well that's a different story. Other guys no way
 
Cooney got a promotion even though we missed on lots of top recruits, which was his job. Perhaps a lazy coach (like CMR) would have promoted him to Co-WR-Co-OC but not Manny. I am sure that if another power five school offers him an on the field job, no one will begrudge him taking it.....

When you have spent your whole life down here including putting time in the hood for most of my childhood it's disheartening. When we were younger some neighborhood sets would rock Hurricane gear as their colors. It's a shame. Problem some these guys that act like handlers now a days weren't good enough to go to UM so they hold grudges.

When we hired Cooney from the HS ranks where was Oregon FSU and Louisville then ? They get more credit for “reaching out” to a guy we’ve already employed and promoted in 3 years time, even tho he failed to land a lot of top players . He deserves a on field position why, just because it’s open ? Cuz he convinced Jeff Thomas to stay in Miami over fckin Illinois ?!

It was so transparent what happened with this "leak" that you can't even call it a leak. Cooney friends started chirping and 10 minutes later this comes out. It's so obviously that he was the one stoking the fire, it's ridiculous.
UM fans have factions, not only fans of the program, but coaches and specific HS players it's crazy.

I knew sht was fcked up when Harley had those dudes throwing up the U on Instagram live and saying **** Florida On their Florida visit and they ended up apologizing and **** , but when it’s Miami getting ****ted on it’s all fun and games . Fck them .

This is why I say ***** what these "community" people gotta say. Like I said before, don't burn bridges but take what they saying with a grain of salt. Why do we have to listen to them for? What are they going to do? Steer top kids away from us? Oh wait, they already do. This ain't the 80's anymore. These dudes have no pull when it comes to top kids because of this era of recruiting. Do what you gotta do to get the program back on track.
