OT: What's your favorite city in Florida other than Miami?

Tampa (I wouldn’t live here if it wasn’t #1 lol)
West palm
St Pete
Miami was never my favorite city lol. I go see my family and friends then I’m out ✌️😂

Lived in that area for several years. The nature is beautiful but the town grew boring to me after a while. I was younger back then though. I still have some family there and spend some time there throughout the year. It definitely has its own charm. I like the military presence too.
I live in Satellite Beach, and grew up here. Hear you bout boring, have to go to Orlando for excitement

Indian Harbour/Satellite Beach.
Living in a South Florida (Pembroke Pines) going home is a welcome relief. I understand it being boring and slow. Not sure if I could do it full time myself. I was speaking with Hurlie Brown the other day and he mentioned how slow it is there....like really slow. After being in Louisiana, Miami and a few other coaching stops, he landed back at home.

Its slow, but, sometimes its nice to relax and enjoy the slow pace, we r only 45 from Orlando, so, can go there for some culture, good restaurants and DISNEY, LOL

Please shut up with St. Augustine.......I don't want that little gem of a town to get too crowded!

Marco is always great if you're looking for a quick little decompression trip from South Florida.

Fort Myers/St Pete Beach are great Spring Training type trips.

Sanibel and Captiva are indeed beautiful.

Locally- Lauderdale-by-the-Sea is a cool little town.

And Tampa is perfect if you're looking for general filthy fun.

Everglades City-wayyyy down south. Very close to Miami and whenever you get out there you feel like Doc stepping out of the time machine. Just a wild place

1. St.Augustine (love the architecture & lots of good restaurants. Greek festival)
2. Fernandina Beach (quaint town/good restaurants)
3. Crescent Beach (nice, sandy and more secluded area - you may run into Steve Spurrier)
4. St. Petersburg (upscale downtown area great restaurants, Dali & Holocaust museum)
5. FL Keys (Mucho seafood restaurants, lobstering, great bars)

Que up Johnny Cougar's Small Town;

Punta Gorda, with a four square block downtown and park along the bay - great Tiki Bar. The city was estabished in 1887; Old Florida fishing village on the Peace River and Charlotte Harbor.

This is the best unspoiled harbor in Florida and one of the only not ringed in concrete - you come in though Boca Grande Pass, round Cape Haze and look up the Harbor what you see - aside from one development and a water tower - is the same **** view Hernando DeSoto had at the dawn of the 1500s.

The Harbor is where the sport of Rod and Reel Tarpon fishing originated and the epicenter for the World's Greatest Tarpon fishing! Also the Celtic Ray was voted the 2nd Best Irish Pub in America to celebrate St Patricks Day, and I'm Italian.
