ND is one of the few schools that have an unlimited War Chest & will backup the Brinks truck for Urban, USC has money too, but they don't like spending big on coaches, which is why they're program has declined over the years.

in a recent interview, Urban's wife said he always has said his three dream jobs were Ohio State, Michigan, and Notre Dame.

El is right and bank this .... Urban is waiting for the Leprechauns to take Kelly away and his *** is headed to the Dome.

I don’t know why ppl get enthralled with Cannon Armed QB’s or CAQB’s. Ryan Mallet could throw it through a brick wall and Jamarcus Russell could throw it on his knees from end zone to end zone. Didn’t help them much. It’s not like he’s a grenade thrower like Chad Pennington... He’s got good mechanics, accurate and pretty decent zip on short and intermediate passes. Kid’s a steal. We’ll revisit in another 2 years...

It’s how it is bro. I’m not a fan of that but the NFL still want guys that can hit every throw with juice. Doesn’t matter that Peyton and Tom are the complete opposite of that

YOU are the one who said you watched the game in its entirety. Not me clown. I pointed out that YOU obviously didn’t watch the game because he had 400 yards and 4 tds. You call that chicken with a Head cut off. To me, thats what I call Jarren

If you watched the game you would’ve know that game was all him and him getting up field. You didn’t watch the game. Your posts keep proving it because you didn’t you know they couldn’t move the football for a quarter in a half.

And no Jarren wasn’t a chicken with his head cut off. He was non existent...

Drew Brees too. In just saying to don’t have to have a rifle to be elite. I think he’ll be pretty good. He SHOULD only get better. We’ll see.

After the 2004 season both Tyrone Willingham and Ron Zook were fired. Urban had his choice of those two jobs and picked UF over ND. ND eventually ended up hiring Fat Charlie.

And this Slovis kid is legit. He reminds me of Kenny D, the greatest NCAA QB ever who shoulda left with 3 NC's.

Harrell's legit. he's got that offense humming with a 3 star freshman QB. i wanted him or Yost to run our offense.
 
I’ve lost hope in the fact Enos sucks and will not be fired lol. Manny will say we were growing this year and give him another chance. Manny still has a chance to be good if he fires the OC and DC and brings in a proven guy on D and a spread OC I feel. Believe me I rather everyone be fired but at this point it doesn’t look like that will happen

Urban only goes where the talent is waiting for him. I don't know about USC but we do not have what he is looking for. He will take Dallas if open. If not then maybe USC. Like always he will run over the new conference for a couple years and maybe get another NC out of it. Then next stop is ND.

I would not be shocked it ND terminated Kelly and hired Urban, if he let it be known he was interested in the job (through back channels). Kelly will never win a NC at ND. Not unlike Richt at Georgia. Good enough to win a lot of games, but not a championship. Urban could even wait one more season for Kelly to leave.

Yeap. The fly is that Urban did say he was interested in Cowboys -- previously NFL did not seem attractive to him. I guess he figures Dallas can buy players and he can slip in for one Super Bowl to top Saban, and even up against Pete and JJ.

Makes sense. He’s won NC at two schools. Why not try the NFL?
