That's why I wont say the program is dead. With the right hire, Miami would be the kings of college football again. Problem is the AD will probably hire Coach Banda as the next HC at Miami if Diaz gets fired.

USC's problem is they're cheap... Urby was making $7mill a year at Oh St, if he were to come back he would command a Saban/Dabo type salary upwards of $9mill a year & more, USC ain't spending that kinda money.

Plus, Notre Dame was always his dream job, he's wanted to coach there since when he was the WR's Coach back in the late 90's under Bob Davie.

ND is one of the few schools that have an unlimited War Chest & will backup the Brinks truck for Urban, USC has money too, but they don't like spending big on coaches, which is why they're program has declined over the years.

What’s funny about this comment is that I actually used to do scouting on this board. It’s how I made my name lol. Yea, Trevor struggles with accuracy...he struggled with it in High School. Justin is Dr. Jeckel Mr. Hyde...both will be draft based off playmaking and arm strength, not decision making and accuracy.

Are you happy now? Did I cover your bases?
 
None of you have watched this kid play but you’re crowning him based on stats lulz.

Uuuuum have you actually SEEN Clovis play? I’ve watched him a couple of times. Let me put it into prospective. When JT Daniels was the starter, he looked like a high schooler trying to play CFB. When Clovis plays, he looks like he belongs. JT will end up transfering because this kid is the truth. Potential top 5 pick Im in the future. He has “it”.

Harrell would be nice but we suffer from cognitive stupidity when making coaching hires so it’s doubtful.

I don’t like Urban at ND because Urban gonna Urban and I doubt they’d want the scrutiny he brings. Plus if ND still doesn’t take walk on or transfers AND they keep their academic requirements the same, I doubt he takes that gig. To be honest, UM would be a great fit for him but again we suffer from the aforementioned...

He’s better than JT but lol at top 5 pick. He can barely throw the ball 50 yards and has little pocket presence. He’s going to be a great college QB but he’s a late round NFL guy at best unless he kills it in the weight room.
