Am I the only one who thinks Jamarr Chase is better than Smith? Smith is ridiculous but I think Chase will translate better to the league.
It's an interesting discussion. I wrote elsewhere I have them as 1a and 1b, with Smith being closer to Chase than media analysts seem to have him. One thing to consider is Chase is currently 20 years old. Smith is 22 and really polished. If you're projecting guys at that level, you need to dig in a bit more into mental makeup and intangibles. I'd like to know just how motivated Chase is to become the best he can be.

I mean you could have Bill Belichick coaching us next year with his entire NFL coaching staff (****, pick the All-Star cast of whoever's coached for him in their prime), it wouldn't make a blind bit of difference.

The talent on this Alabama team is ridiculous. Not in an organic way, mind. In a very cynical, bought and paid for while the NCAA turns a blind eye way.

It's helped by the fact that this generation of players are front runners - very few of the elite want to play at home anymore. They want to play with the best and mash teams. Different breed of kids these days.
Don’t forget the ex Head Coach analysts they have..

they all will look like this when they have multiple 1st rd wrs to throw to every year. Used to happen to USC back in the day. (Yes I'm young thats my back in the day lmao)
For sure, just look what happened to Trashk, but Tuaa's not the guy, can't even keep Fitz on the bench

Again, worth mentioning about UM’s talent deficit.
Bama has 5 players in their starting 22 better than ANY player UM has had in a decade

Chase will also have more questions to answer based off 1 good year and opting out. Whereas Smith gradually got better year after year.

The stockpile of talent Bama has should be illegal because of the competitive advantage it creates.
It's the way they go about it that ***** me off.

I don't mind hugely talented teams that have depth, but teams playing by different rules is just crap (Georgia, LSU, Alabama, OSU, Clemson).

Realistically the NCAA has to do something about it - the interest in their product has to be tumbling.

Just 5? They have at least 10 that will be first round picks.

State of the art at what? A big *** big screen tv in the middle of the field. I wasn't impressed. It's actually ugly on the inside to me. The Mercedes stadium in Atlanta is better IMO.
I’m not denying the Mercedes isn’t nicer (I hear the same) but to say AT&T is ugly just shows you really are clueless.
