Very sad. The last 6 or so months of the kid's life were spent as well as one could and it also ended up being a true testament to the unimaginable power for good that sports can have beyond just being games and sources of amusement. RIP.
 
That is unfortunate, definitely taken away too soon. Rest In Peace Tyler.
 
In all seriousness, it's really sad but he will leave an impact having written a book about his story that has some of the profits donated to cancer research. It was a short but good life.

RIP and condolences to the family. Glad he got to see the Boilermakers dismantle the Taints!
