Neither Bielema or Anderson were Wisconsin alumni. The former left for $EC money, and Anderson split because he was frustrated by Wisconsin’s academic requirements.

Chryst’s salary was recently increased to $4.1M, so life in Madison is good.

It's an interesting point. Brohm makes $2 mil more at Purdue and Lovie makes $1 mil more at Illinois. If Wisconsin's success is due to Paul Chryst then he'd be crazy to take a $4.1 mil salary.

The phrase ‘success is due to...’ is not a fair statement to Chryst. Wisconsin has an organization and system in place, and Chryst clearly executes the plan very well. He’s been a coach in the program for 15 years.

Wisky D is pretty serious unit. Our **** w/Wisky goes way back. Looking back, Alvarez would have been successful here.

I can absolutely see that being applicable to their offense (ie their o-line recruiting, etc) but their defense is looking next level nasty this year so far too.

It obviously helps to have possibly the best RB in college football to complement that o-line though too.

This Ohio State team is good. I liked Wisconsin a lot coming into this game....specifically the defense. But will give taint credit. I thought this was going to be their most difficult game.....man was I wrong.
