OT: Mario Cristobal named HC at Oregon

Still a little salty about Mario bailing on UM 3 weeks after accepting a position. All in all happy for Mario getting a shot again as a head coach out west. Interested to see how he will do there. Their facilities are second to none, he has everything he needs to be successful with the Ducks.

USF North (AKA FSU) fans hyping up Taggart as this stud recruiter. When has Taggart signed a major prospect, I mean gone head-to-head with at least one top program and won for a player that program really wanted? I don't recall it happening at USF. They had a top 10 rated recruiting class at Oregon, but I suspect Mario had more than a little to do with that.

Recruiting at USF doesn't really work the same way it does at Miami. Succeeding at places like that are usually getting guys that are good enough to warrant consideration from the bigger programs but may not be a priority. Tyre McCants is one of those guys as he had offers from UGA and FSU come in within 48 hours of signing day. Darnell Soloman is a 4 star kid that was committed to UGA before getting in trouble and Richt pulled his offer.

Also, LOL at you thinking Cristobal is going into Armwood and pulling top guys. It's cool if you think Taggart sucks, but he can sell.
 
Never minded Cristobal and I never blamed him for bailing from Golden's staff and going to Bama.

Hope he beats SC every year...it's fun when Oregon is good. And I hope he becomes a good enough coach to potentially take over from Richt some day.

Someday we need to rank all the CIS cults. The Uncle Puke apologists, the SEC apologists, the God Bless every local high school kid that commits elsewhere crew, the Randy Fan Club, the Lamar Thomas family members, etc.

That said, the boys from Columbus are cute in their Luigi worship. It takes devotion they must learn in mass there to actually believe that Luigi goes around physically threatening the likes of Urbie and Cuckbo while also thinking this is a good hire for Oregon. Phil Knight must've really stopped caring as I bet UCF didn't even want to interview Luigi.

MiamI definately isnt his dream job...and i hope we never explore him.

Only reason his name even came up is because of Feldman, and Herald writers liking him cause hes a local guy.

The colombus group have more pride for that school than um. They worship Cristobal....got guys pumping gator committs...sh*t is crazy
