Any dude that has boned more than 10 women in his life probably has been physically attacked by one at some point. Most of us aren't throwing kill shots at their domes. As for the supposed racial slur and spitting, if Mixon absolutely couldn't live with himself without retaliating then he shoulda just dumped a drink or plate of food on her head. I guarantee the reaction to that from her would have been almost as satisfying in the moment than sucker punching a woman and then running out the door.

Then again, he also coulda went to a school in an area where white people don't just drop n-bombs in public too. But that's another discussion.

How is it a hate crime? Even if she didn't say anything or spit on him, she clearly assaulted him prior to his overreaction. Just because she's white and he's black doesn't make it a hate crime.

If a 12-13 year old kid in school is upset and starts flailing at a male teacher, would it be ok for that grown man to swing back and break the jaw of that kid?

If a driver on the road cut in front of you, slightly dinging your car, which prompted you purposely react by slamming your car into his, seriously injuring him and putting him in the hospital.....is that ok?

In any situation, you have to look at immediate bodily risk vs justifiable reaction. It's not different than saying it's NOT justifiable to shoot a man yelling he's going to kill you 50 feet away outside at your mailbox, but IS justifiable to shoot that same man if he's yelling the same thing while trying to break down your front door.

Mixon is a complete loser to follow a drunk girl into a place and laying her out like that. He knew the situation he was putting himself in and seemingly felt no remorse after how he casually walked away, not caring about her health. He didn't try to restrain her first and only swing if the situation continued to escalate. He swung from the word "go" in his head.

Nobody's saying she's right. She's clearly wrong. Her own actions are criminal in themselves. That's not the point. The point is she was not a physical threat to him in the slightest. His reaction was totally disproportionate to a non-threatening situation.

Like I said before, how people react to this a litmus test for your functioning status in a civilized society. In general, low-impulse control, less successful, less adaptable, and generally lower socioeconomic, lower intelligence, and low social-IQ people find justification in his disproportionate response, and some even state they would have done the same.

The more successful, more intelligent, higher status individuals will understand the criminal nature of his response.

I'll give you another one -- stautory rape. A 40 year old man sleeping with a 14 year old girl is disgusting. That 40 year old guy will absolutely be doing some sort of jail time and his life will never be the same again. He will be portrayed as a predator and menace to society (and he probably is).

The whole thing is depressing. Uncivilized behavior in the video is being analyzed by uncivilized and irrational standards throughout the thread.

Several points.

1. She was first in the wrong as the initiator of physical violence.

2. His actions, though responsive, were far worse. A weak push or slap does not justify an out of proportion bone-breaking response. If she insults him, he can insult back. If she spits, he can spit back, etc. If he had kept it to that level or pushed her away I would have no issue with his response.

3. Gender should not be taken into consideration. Size/strength of the parties is another matter, and proportionality of response is the ultimate key.

4. If you don't respect the principle of proportionality, you are excusing virtually any outrageous response to any slight or action. The more people who think like that, the closer a society slides toward a violent 3rd world cesspool. That kind of thinking is a product of trash culture, and we need to be demonizing it, not advocating more of it.

5. Bystanders are not legally or ethically required to play vigilante. It's fine if they choose to try to help in some way, but you'd have to be pretty ignorant to not understand how easy it is to get your life ended instantly by a bullet after violence in a public place erupts.
