OT: Ivins Kicked out

Year of the Bull style. “Why the defense not working?!? I don’t know! I don’t know!” Is that guy still there? Cameos from Tauren Charles?

Too many people on this board frothing at the mouth to wanna bash MNW without knowing the situation.

"Da Warden" is not an actual member of the coaching staff, he's a MNW alum that helps out from time to time but not a full time position coach. He's a party promoters & one the owners of ONE strip club.

The issue was not with the Coaching staff it is with the AD Andre, he has a personal problem with Ivins. I don't agree with having him escorted out by the police, but that wasn't Coach Max's decision & had nothing to do with the staff.

Ivins insinuating that because of this he's going to give bad reviews on MNW players is uncalled for & unnecessary. I've heard for awhile now that a lot of Coaches feel that some of these recruiting sites (and their writers) are driven by behind the scenes politics & will drop or raise a player's rating based on things that have nothing to do with football & Ivins just lowkey told on himself.

This whole situation could've been smoothed over & handled a lot better by both Ivins & the administration, but I've also heard some people at MNW just don't trust Ivins & honestly don't care how he felt about it.

What about the MNW coaches who invited him and the Rivals guy? Why didn't they get involved ? Why not make sure Ivins knew their invite wasn't enough to just walk in?

He's been the Miami Central Head Coach since there run started. He's also a former hurricane player.

I been in s.fla my whole life..and for the most part anyone who covers s.fla football or recruiting has been...WHITE. So i dont think race is an issue here.

The AD not responding to the email since last year...lets you know their is a prior issue there.

Yup agree...Ivins out of line, but dude didn't have to make it a race thing. I believe he may have thought Ivins was implying that as well, but that's when you really have a chance to take the high ground and show you're better.

Take in account Anytime we have any type of even on our campus, we have 3 officers there and visible. The police don’t know the situation, they are just doing their jobs. ESPECIALLY IN TODAYS CLIMATE...with all these shootings going on..clearly this is not the situation but there’s your answer to why police escorted him out

It was overkill and today’s climate probably contributed to it. 5 officers responding tells me whoever called has something against Ivins. Still excessive but it is what it is.

Man shut that solve his issues like a man face to face stuff up. First, He was told by the coaches to come. Second, He sent the AD emails. Third, He came to the game they could've addressed him like a man he came to their Spring Game. Just like High schools blackball College football coaches from their players... Ivins can do what he feel he wants to do when it comes to MNW kids. If the coach loved those kids he would've kept his mouth shut. Who the heck threatens a 24/7 reporter with violence? Ain't nobody scared of people from Miami.

So that means the administration is incompetent of doing their job. If he email the director of coming and the email isn't answered how is he operating in the best interest of those kids? Are Grown Black Men weak they can't tell a reporter "No you can't come". Now, You have this man come all the way to the school only to be told it's a no go. That's Strike two. Now, He buys a ticket goes into the stands only to be escorted out at a Spring Game. That's strike three. So nobody is coming at MNW sideways they dropped the ball period. I know you gone rep yo city, but MNW from the Administration on down pulled some passive aggressive b**ch moves period fam. The "Privileged White Boy" should've been told from jump he's not welcomed here.

Jesus it’s like you didn’t even read his side of the story about how the AD didn’t respond to his multiple requests for credentials

This doesn’t hurt the 5star/4star kids but it hurts the borderline D-1 and kids who need the exposure for D2 schools outside of the state to see some names and maybe measurables so they can maybe offer

This is terrible for about 80% of that team.. childish by the supposed adults who cry how everything is for the kids!!

I think Ivins was mad bc his white privilege didn’t work on that day. Lol some of yall act like police officers are on the Miami Northwestern payroll... his *** got kicked out because of whatever business he didn’t handle correctly, that’s his issue to deal with.
 
For ppl saying high schools need Ivins and 247??🤔 no it’s the other way around... the MNW football program has been well known long before 247 started gaining clout. College Coaches don’t need 247 to recruit high school talent that **** is only for online college football fans. And if Ivins ***** up his rep on the local high school level he won’t have a job at 247 or in this business at all.

The kid in the red shirt also is a coach at Southridge if i could recall as recent as last year..not sure if he is coaching at MNW this year though lol. But he got us Fleming.
