It’s taking a shot at the administration..MNW is run by black folk. St.Thomas white folk..all I though don’t agree with what Twitter buddy was saying and his conclusion I get his point. He is saying show the same respect to MNW open scrimmage as you would STA. He’s under the perception that even though Ivins emailed the admin and didn’t get a response or whatever, Ivins didn’t exhaust all avenues to get clearance to film. And just showed up thinking he’d get by on face value or rep or “we’ll it’s MNW a Dade private school”..and Ivins would not do that at a school like st. Thomas. Which is true..all in all the only ones who can possibly get hurt outta of this are the lesser kids. I don’t think Ivins did anything particularly wrong, but at the same time did he exhaust all avenues..maybe not. Who knows..More blame should be on MNW admin..I’m for sure not plugged in enough to know if MNW was giving him the run around on some personal **** or it’s just incompetence at the top..
where in that particular post did he throw race into it?
Year of the Bull style. “Why the defense not working?!? I don’t know! I don’t know!” Is that guy still there? Cameos from Tauren Charles?
I honestly think Ivins was in the wrong as well. Da warden dude is in the wrong about the "priviledge white boy" comment, i guess he felt that way because of Ivins just moving his set up to the stands like.. a "f you" to being told to leave the sidelines. But it wasnt a race thing and shouldnt of been brought up.
I been in s.fla my whole life..and for the most part anyone who covers s.fla football or recruiting has been...WHITE. So i dont think race is an issue here.
The AD not responding to the email since last year...lets you know their is a prior issue there.
He was filming bro..kicked off the sidelines and then was probably the only one in the stands doing so..I’ll end by saying this, I work for Broward county schools for a elementary school. Take in account Anytime we have any type of even on our campus, we have 3 officers there and visible. The police don’t know the situation, they are just doing their jobs. ESPECIALLY IN TODAYS CLIMATE...with all these shootings going on..clearly this is not the situation but there’s your answer to why police escorted him out
There’s blame on both sides here.
First off, Ivins need to solve his issues with these coaches like a man, face to face, before he goes to the streets with these problems. You’re never going to solve anything by taking it public on Twitter. That was his first mistake.
His second was his deleted tweet about not giving glowing reviews to MNW kids. He lost his mind there. You can’t threaten shlt like that. It’s dumb and unethical.
Coach also went wild on Twitter and it’s a really bad look. Making his own veiled threats and injecting race into the situation was unnecessary. I expect better from a leader of young men.
These two guys need to take this shlt offline and resolve it post haste.
Nobody is winning here, get it fixed.
Too many people on this board frothing at the mouth to wanna bash MNW without knowing the situation.
"Da Warden" is not an actual member of the coaching staff, he's a MNW alum that helps out from time to time but not a full time position coach. He's a party promoters & one the owners of ONE strip club.
The issue was not with the Coaching staff it is with the AD Andre, he has a personal problem with Ivins. I don't agree with having him escorted out by the police, but that wasn't Coach Max's decision & had nothing to do with the staff.
Ivins insinuating that because of this he's going to give bad reviews on MNW players is uncalled for & unnecessary. I've heard for awhile now that a lot of Coaches feel that some of these recruiting sites (and their writers) are driven by behind the scenes politics & will drop or raise a player's rating based on things that have nothing to do with football & Ivins just lowkey told on himself.
This whole situation could've been smoothed over & handled a lot better by both Ivins & the administration, but I've also heard some people at MNW just don't trust Ivins & honestly don't care how he felt about it.
What’s his name? He's been the Miami Central Head Coach since there run started. He's also a former hurricane player.
If Ivins was called "A Privilege White Boy" this has all to do with race, and less about his credentials. That coach needs to be fired and far away from these kids because they want a D-1 offer. He's putting them in a position for that not to happen.
Since no Black Person wants to say it I'll say it.
Need credentials. Get them. End of story. Two adults arguing like high school kids on social media is a joke.
Ivins needs high school football players and coaches more than they need him. I think some of y’all are salty because Ivins is your sauce for information.
I don't think most of us do
We need some of that back in society today..called respect. Instead a kid gets chewed out then coming back to school with a AK47Those coaches were former canes, former canes coaches as well in there. There whole admin has changed about 12 times since then. The kid in the red shirt also is a coach at Southridge if i could recall as recent as last year..not sure if he is coaching at MNW this year though lol. But he got us Fleming.
alot of my friends in that year of the bull doc lmao
