OT: Ivins Kicked out

Jesus Christ read more than what that punk coach wrote...

Ivins tried multiple times for verified credentials and got ZERO response and only came to this practice because he was invited by the Coaching staff... the AD sent the off duty cops to walk him out like a criminal and embarrassed a dude who can help a ton of those under rated MNW kids offers/recruitment

But again this is all about the kid at least that’s what the ADs and coaching staffs always cry about

Nah I’m saying them officers are responding to a situation at a school. That’s how it’s gonna be and that’s how it should be. We had a situation at the school I work at where two parents got into a argument over a parking space lol..someone called the police and be assured 3 cops came on scene

Why didn’t Ivins make sure he got word from either the HC or AD before hand?? A lot of “why not and didn’ts” in the situation..imo it sounds like something personal

How about a D2 school in Kansas.. the dakotas.. etc who don’t have the recruiting budget to blow on plane trips to recruit Florida the write ups that these reporters do 247/ rivals (yes both reporters got kicked out) carry a lot of weight to help influence these dudes to come out and see if they can get lucky mining some talent

Again this doesn’t effect the 5star/4 Star kids at all who kill the camp circuit

It’s about the other 80% of the team that won’t sniff D-1 and could get a shot to escape on a full ride and make a better life

"Da Warden" is not an actual member of the coaching staff, he's a MNW alum that helps out from time to time but not a full time position coach. He's a party promoters & one the owners of ONE strip club.

The issue was not with the Coaching staff it is with the AD Andre, he has a personal problem with Ivins. I don't agree with having him escorted out by the police, but that wasn't Coach Max's decision & had nothing to do with the staff.

Ivins insinuating that because of this he's going to give bad reviews on MNW players is uncalled for & unnecessary. I've heard for awhile now that a lot of Coaches feel that some of these recruiting sites (and their writers) are driven by behind the scenes politics & will drop or raise a player's rating based on things that have nothing to do with football & Ivins just lowkey told on himself.

This whole situation could've been smoothed over & handled a lot better by both Ivins & the administration, but I've also heard some people at MNW just don't trust Ivins & honestly don't care how he felt about it.

Giving bad reviews about players is a bush league move and I'm saying that all the way from DC. Players didn't kick him out...

How do you know Ivins “tried” multiple times to do anything?? Did he just send the same email to the same email address over and over again?? So if you try to request for credentials multiple times and nobody responds is that really “trying”??

You’re defending a bull**** excuse imo

And Ivins is not relevant when it comes to a kids ability to receive a fb scholarship.

He definitely should not have shown up without clearance. They can always use that against him. He didn't have permission to be on a public school campus.

Ivins tweets that he was ALREADY turned away all of last season at MNW... your going to tell me that one of the major D1 factories he isn’t trying to visit as often as possible??

So this doesn’t sound like a new issue and one that he’s been trying to get over.. you can’t be a south Florida 247 reporter and be missing out on such a large scoop

I’ll say it again... this doesn’t effect the 5star and 4star kids... but those kids who have a shot at D2 at schools in Kansas and out west who are curious about south Florida and want some quality kids lose out on that exposure of being able to grab measurements.. notes on the player because they simply don’t have the budget to send coaches to recruit

Amen man...Nobody worried about little Andrew and him threatening to not promote a school where kids grow up LOVING UM as he tries to promote his internet football recruiting career.

He knew all last year that some sort of action or miscommunication caused him to be black balled for an entire season at MNW...

instead of constantly sending request for credentials knowing theyre not ******* with you, why not reach out to see if him and the AD could have some sort of meeting to clear up whatever issues need to be addressed?

lol you say that, but this entire board lives and dies off his information. also, regardless of his intentions, hes still employed by 247 and that does open doors for these kids considering they're national

I mean if i got escorted out by 5 police officers, I might be up in my feelings too

ivins isn't some shovel digger down there, that's embarrassing to have that seen in public ESPECIALLY for that reason

What’s the difference... either way it’s a bad look for MNW AD to have two big time reporters escorted out like criminals because of some petty B.S

This is all supposed to be for the kids right?? Ivins was doing his job for the kids ready to talk up some kids and give some future hype for 21-22-23 class kids

What did the AD to help the kids?

247 means nothing to Miami Northwestern kids, not one **** bit...

And care less about what he provides to this board. He deserves to be called out for this little tantrum.
