OT: Ivins Kicked out

And the plot thickens

That says a lot. And sounds like Ivins didn’t follow protocol. He assumed that because he didn’t receive a response from the AD all season that he could just take it upon himself and just show up to the spring scrimmage and be on the sideline without any proper credentials. He probably was invited but not approved to be on the sidelines. I’m bothered that he threatened to write something negative about their students. That’s alarming and disturbing on his end.

The **** you talkin about? People on here said they witnessed it. You honestly think that Ivins showed his ***? How many of these events does he attend every season with no incident? That's dumb as ****. He got mad at a coach because that coach looked like a ****** idiot on Twitter. Ivins even said that he tried to apply for credentials with the AD and gets no response. You have your narrative...so **** all the facts...

Sounds like he didn’t apply for credentials for the spring scrimmage. Sounds like he assumed that because he received no response that he just showed up. I know lack of communication maybe frustrating but he shouldn’t showed up on the sideline until he heard something. I doubt this just caught him by surprised (escort did but not the tension). If he knows that he has a strained relationship with MNW, he needs to just step back. I’m bothered by his threat to not write something positive for a kid.

these 247 writers are reporters looking for a job correct?
I mean didn’t one of our own cis staffers get hired by gators 247?
I’ve always been suspect of ivins after a comment he made on the big 3 roll up.
When cmr was putting together storm 18 he said something on the big 3 roll up like “I have no idea how or why they are signing the guys they are. They just signed Brian Hightower who is from California. A guy they should have no business signing”
I couldn’t believe he was saying that. I know it’s hard to have a reporter be an actual fan but ****.
I also don’t trust 247 at all. The way they’ve down played everything from everyone else but but blow up anything that happens here is so obvious.
The Grace and AQM thing was front page on the 247 home page for like 10 days.
The fact that the founders of those sites are all sec grads makes it even more suspect.
You basically have a monopoly on a lot of recruiting information controlled by sec fans.
You think saban or Kirby doesn’t get on the phone over there and asks what is this kid saying what has he told you guys?
Also what a dumb *** thing to say that he won’t give a kid a good review for som sht he had nothing to do with.
Wait, maybe I misunderstood but... is the reporter an actual fan or is 247 an SEC intelligence gathering organization? Seems like it can’t be both.

Also, I don’t think saban has to call anyone from 247 to find out what a recruit said. Just read the articles.

This sounds a little like when Nick Saban left the Dolphins in 2007, and St Thomas Aquainas wouldn't let Bama on their campus to recruit for a couple years.

Need credentials. Get them. End of story. Two adults arguing like high school kids on social media is a joke.

Ivins needs high school football players and coaches more than they need him. I think some of y’all are salty because Ivins is your sauce for information.

This is just s dumb comment. 24/7 is a national brand that any Highschool team would love that it would cover. Our Highschools need the exposure they bring. Not the other way around.

INVITED BY THE COACHES. Get your facts right before you get into your feelings.

More South Florida ego maniacal, peacocking youth football idiocy. These dopes, in their zeal to flex their misplaced egos, forget that they are HS football coaches, who should be looking out for the kids’ best interests and not trying to show their 39 Twitter followers their e-beefing skills. Grow up, and deflate that misplaced ego a little.
Been going on for yrs unfortunately...
