Supposedly, hot & humid is bad for virus. Humidity makes it heavy when someone coughs and it doesn't spread as far and the heat makes it deactivate or go dormant or something. Sunshine is natural disinfectant so being at a beach in FL is not bad, but being there with ****load of drunken people trying to mate is. In Fl summer is the wet season and hot so it should get better here.Primary and secondary schools are closed in Mexico which started yesterday, I believe (more precautionary at this point).
Brazil and Chile are the ones that have the case counts running up.
Mexico has picked up over the past week or so, but still fewer than 100 total cases.
Hard to know how much testing is being done per country, of course.
If the coronavirus IS temperature sensitive Latin America (and Africa) could be better off.
Too early yet.
