At first glance I agree, wholeheartedly.

However, D. Jones is an UFA next summer and they're essentially choosing him over Winslow with plans to have max space available for Giannis in '21. This is the challenge with developing young talent so well... Sometimes you have to make tough choices.

Riles is trying for the playoff run with defensive minded vets. Gallinari doesn't fit into that picture. Maybe they're looking for a guy that can get hot quickly. Feel that he has loads of talent but has underperformed his carerer.

Floor spacer on expiring contract. Young core will be Herro, Bam, D. Jones, Robinson. Would love to add Kuzma to that.
