Obviously great news if this trend holds but it's insane that a Cat 4 that was going to smash South Florida is now a possible landfall event....in North Carolina.

ECMWF model has had a trend towards not hitting Florida since Thursday. It's been very accurate.

The Bahamas are going to be demolished. Pray for them.

I know that according all the models this thing is going to come to a screeching halt at Freeport and hang there for two days, and then head north, it’s going to be basically 90 miles directly east of my front door for about two days.

It’s a scary thought.
