That's not what I'm saying. What I'm saying is Em was a nobody until Dre discovered him and produced for him, and would still probably be a nobody had that not happened. He can be somebody without Dre now, but he needed Dre to break out.

dude some of the beats Dre did for em on his first album were horrible. It’s almost like he did it on purpose. Consider the instrumentals on both chronic albums to he slim shady lp. “My name is” instrumental is garbage. I can’t understand people still to this day knock on em while your favorite rappers admire him and some idolize him. Drake went at it all by himself with no Label and became a success. So now he’s better than em cause em had Dre? If em was just coming out now with social media and the networking around now it would take him 24 hrs to go viral with multiple tracks. He’s that talented. Please tell me how many rappers out right now could go number 1 on iTunes at 46. Jay and maybe NAS.
I’ve said it before I’d rather bump other beats and other rapers music. But to listen to em just spit is on another level. I compare it to when rakim came out and you just knew everyone had to fall back. Another rapper that nobody dared to talk about out of respect.

Everybody knows Dre gave Em his career. You’re not saying anything new. Dre is a master at discovering talent and making beats.

The new generation may have forgot about Dre, but in my book the two Chronic albums are top five all time.

Lyrically a lot of **** went over ppl's head with Slim's diss. You need to listen to Killshot about ten times to get what he was saying. Once you get it, you would he like..... ****. He did murder MGK. PAY ATTENTION TO THE SIMILES, METAPHORS AND BARS OF RAP!
 
Ppl forget Em was a battle rapper. He would have been in today's rap battle scene killing it if not discovered.

Eminem only went after people that either sucked at rapping ie Nick cannon, aren't really rappers ie. Benzino, and people who had their hands tied (ja rule was under federal investigation by the FBI for having ties to the Supreme McGriff and the Supreme team and was laundering money for them through Murda inc).
