OT- Game of Thrones - Season 7

the last 2 seasons have sucked ***.

as soon as they got ahead of the books the whole thing went in the schitter.

the new episode (4) sucks just as bad as the rest of this season has.

I agree with all of that except the last sentence. Episode 4 delivers on a lot of promises.

Like what?

It was yet another flaccid episode. Bad writing and rushed plot line with a tepid cliffhanger.

The dragons burning the tail end of the lannister army was decent. Other than that the show has been schit for at least 2 seasons now.

Dany unleashing a dragon and the Dothraki on a Westeros army and slaughtering them.

They've been waxing on about how powerful both are for 7 years. We finally saw it.

So U believe that the show "sucks" for various reasons, but U still watch it and close enough that U researched the leaked episode to watch this sucky show in advance and then come here to drop a passive-aggressive spoiler for those who do love the show?

Then try to start beef with me for disagreeing with U by bringing up roots, just because I'm not ashamed to be black like U are AND U want to finesse this back and forth into getting the thread closed.

Yes.

(tbh I thought you'd laugh about the Roots thing. Didn't expect you to get all booty sore about it)

Excellent excellent excellent episode!

What's up with the side eyes Tyrion is beginning to give Dany??? I wonder what his issues are specifically. What does he expect her to do? Not fly her dragons? She learned today, but he is still looking funny style in the previews.

If Bron and Jaime somehow escape this situation I might consider not watching anymore (yeah right).

Now that the Dragon has put in work, wouldn't it be unrealistic to assume that any army would form against them going forward and due to the accounts of this episodes carnage?

Nah, the Dragons can be killed. Its just extremely hard, and they have an incredible K:D ratio. But eventually you hit them with enough spears, especially if they are those big *** ones, and you can kill it.
Plus, the armies are going to defend their land/home from someone trying to take it. Even if its to the death.

Cats arguing about the show like a spades game. Dropping "Roots" like High Joker. Alex Haley would be proud. Progress.

Trying not to spoil it for anyone who didn't watch tonight, so...I'll just say what's up with those wildlings, Ser Jorah, Sam, Yara and Tormond. Slight spoiler: and we have a "new Ygritte". LOL.

I hear U but individually and collectively I could see it being extremely difficult to round up willing and confident troops after the stories of that battle against one dragon when she still has 2 others, and is now aware of the secret crossbow/catapult weapon at Cersei's disposal. Dragons break wills and oaths lol. Pure mutiny.

Wonder which episode Jaimie is gonna kill Cersei

I'm not sure if he does it, but I'm pretty sure he's going to lose that gold hand in the water and emerge a changed man. He's had enough of his sister's BS. Jaime, Bronn, Jon, Dany on the same Team of the Century.

It was pretty awesome to see one of the dragons in full action. Dropping the hammer from above, I loved it.

Really enjoyable episode again.

The raven scroll that Arya has is the one Sansa sent to Robb in season 1 episode 8 when Cersei tried to get him to come swear fealty to Joffrey.

Next week should be incredible.

One of the best episodes of the last 2 seasons.

They should let Dave Hill write at least half of the episodes from here out. He's the only one that even comes close to GRRM.

Had a friend who bought the audio books and swears by them. He listened to them on his work commute and when he worked out. I believe it took him about a month to knock them all out.
