I spoke to soon. Tyrion's plans are getting sh1*#ed on.
lol. This episode was great. But yeah Cersei/Jaime/Euron had a really good plan. But Euron is only strong at sea. And the Dornish are to the south of The Reach. So The Lannister army is now actually fully surrounded by the enemy - Unsullied to the North (not sure how many are left), Dorne's to the South, and She's going to send Dothraki from the East, possibly assisted by men from Storms End (maybe Gendry will be named Baratheon?). Though I still think she'd going to lose at least one dragon soon
It was an excellent episode! Dany's haughtiness was obnoxious but by the end of the episode I understood it and wasn't as irritated by it. The sentiment that's being left with the viewer is that the Dornish are done, and there is no threat to the South anymore. Dany saying that "all my allies are gone", made me think this. Seems the Dornish don't have a formidable leader to rally them.
The casting of The Dothraki was crazy. Those dudes look intimidating as ****. Who would want to line up against them. She is definitely gonna lose a dragon or 2 this season. They didn't show Cersei's massive catapult for nothing. Bran came back on some spaced out weirdo ish lol! Still think he has a huge role before this series ends. Also think U are right, Jaime is gonna choke Cersei out before this is over.
Cersei has a banging body. As must as I'd love for a Stark to kill her, Jaime tossing her out a window might just satisfy the thirst.

Body double.

Right or wrong, you are zero fun.

I remember watching an interview with the cast and the ladies were saying no doubles on the nude scenes... Cersie was saying that she needed makeup to cover
her tattoos...So no doubles! Khalessi is banging tho!
I wanna see who Arya is going to kill next ?

The only reason I think Gendry is important is since in the books Robert has four ******** of name and contributions to the story that are relatively significant (Mya Stone, Bella, Gendry, and Edric Storm) and the Gendry in the show has been a pseudo-conglomeration of those characters's storylines so he must be important for some function if he's the only ******* to make it into the show and matter.
All very good points. I ask you this then. We both agree that Dany will probably legitimize Gendry. I think Cersei will die, Dany will die, Littlefinger will die, Jon will decline the throne, and Tyrion will prefer to be Hand rather than king. ASSUMING that's how things play out, who become king/queen? At that point, I think Gendry will have as good a claim as anybody else.
I don't know it you can tell, but I'm pulling for Gendry hard. I had already banked big on Rickon and that ended poorly.
I understand his importance in that sense, because he is a combo of all the ********. But In truth I don't think any of the ******* really matter. I think they matter in the sense that one of them will end up being the lord of storms end when all is finished (which could mean Gendry lives).
If all those people that you say die die, then Jon could be king and just rule from the North, with Tyrion as his hand basically running everything. But even if Jon turns it down completely, Tyrion will 100% serve as King. Honestly, he is the person most fit to rule. Even Sansa would also rule before Gendry imo. I don't see king Gendry as a possibility tbh.
Even if you are rooting for Gendry super hard though, I think him surviving and getting Storms end is absolutely amazing for him. Its not like being the Lord of the Stormlands is anything to scoff at.
I think we see him in episode 2 though. Apparently the title is Stormborn. Obviously it refers to Dany, but Any time the word Storm is mentioned it could have something to do with the Baratheons.
Who is your favorite character?
I'm fully convinced Jon is the Prince that Was Promised, will end up as king, will get his own dragon, etc, etc. Definitely a fan of Jon over Dany.
For the show I'd probably rate my favorite alive characters: Jon > Tyrion > Arya > Dany > The Hound > Bran
For the books I'd rate the alive characters: Jon (Better come back to life in books) > Stannis > Tyrion > Dolourous Edd (from the NW) > Dany > Bran
Lady Olenna and then everybody else.

Ay but she went out true to her character. Queen of Thorns.

She went out middle fingers in the air and Thug Life sunglasses descending on her face while The Next Episode played in the background but it was still excruciating for me.
