OT: Dalvin Cook Arrested?

I used to think Bobby Knight was too tough on his players with team rules, and could never play for him because he had a rule at Indiana that if you were even SEEN at a bar you were immediately kicked off the team. I am starting to see why he had the rule.

to be fair, there are a 18+ bars that give wristbands to people over 21. it's a bit of a loophole, but that's not something that's unique to tallahassee.

FSU permitted Winston situation to run amok & turned their heads so why are they now making statements to the press? This is Cook's 3RD involvement in something stupid. The kid has problems. Jimbo seems to have lost control of the team & their politician president seems adept at covering things up. They will suspend Cook for a meaningless game OR 1/2 game. Farce. They have become Urban Renewal/UF.

THE DETAILS
According to the police incident report, the woman who was allegedly punched by Cook was intoxicated. She told police she was approached by a man among a group of five to seven FSU players outside of Clyde’s and Costello’s shortly after the bar closed.
According to Leon County court records, the woman said the unidentified man, who was not Cook, asked for her phone number. She refused to give it to him, saying she had a boyfriend. The victim, who is not an FSU student, told police Cook came over and tried to calm the situation down. But after the victim shoved FSU receiver Travis Rudolph away, she said Cook began swinging at her.
“They kept telling me they were football players,” the alleged victim told ESPN.com. “They kept telling me to Google them. They told me they were football players and they could buy me in two years.”
Police described the alleged victim as having a bloody lip and dirt on her left knee. She told police the punches by Cook knocked her back against a black Jeep parked on the roadway.
Cook has a prior history of run-ins with the law.
He was named in a 2014 aggravated assault case after two men he was with were alleged to have brandished a handgun at a neighbor. Cook was charged with criminal mischief and completed a diversion program this summer, according to the Tallahassee Democrat.

So Cook sucker punches this GIRL and maybe a couple other hits and she ends up with bloody lip and knocked to one knee? Boy is a frigging girl. No wonder he had to "get away", kid can't even beat up a drunk girl. So Fl girls were probably beating the crap out of him and his boy friend so whey thought them nole holes would go easier on them. Cook goes to jail, he is going to be the favorite girl in the place for sure.
If cook goes to jail, he'd be the one with the poob on his junk...but I digress as there is no video and he won't go to jail.
Protecting your lover is honorable & all but I digress; it sure ain't worth getting arrested and becoming a public pariah
Yet, I'm sure that with Dalvin Cook pure and elite talent& skill set resulting in his TOTAL value to FSU success on the Football field, one of those rich FSU boosters in the Legacy Golden Chief level will surely get a runner to offer home girl [victim] and her peeps cold hard cash $$$ to STFU and silently let the system work itself out. The misdemeanor charge sticks while he completes some community service, and thereafter, the girl offers not one utterance opposing the disposal and subsequent dismissal of the case.
Woman has picked Cook out of a line up. Trailerville adminis & cops are under the gun on this one. If he was some flunkie he'd already be gone.

From Mike Bianchi: "According to records from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement obtained by the Sentinel, Cook was arrested as a juvenile and charged with robbery in 2009. Prosecutors later opted to drop the case. Cook was also arrested and charged with firing a weapon and possessing a weapon at an event on school property in 2010, according to FDLE records. The third-degree felony charge was later dropped or abandoned."
this guys is toast, if not now then the next incident.
