Today? Dam say whatever you want about this government, but they’re lightning fast market response team is amazing. I’ve been around for a minute or two and I’ve never seen an administration better react to a slowing economy. Well done 👍

Please stop lying.

Banks are all saying this is a disaster, they have received no parameters or guidelines and no money has been lent yet.

No, nothing happened today. No money moved.

It's sad you will get a bunch of negative responses here from people who don't see the good in this. I am doing my research on it and most likely will be applying for the PPP for my small business.

Can you tell us what is well done? The fact they passed a law spending money they don't have?

Partisanship aside.....this is a huge mess for the people who actually need it most. No guidance just leave it up to the banks to make up their own rules. Legit discussion as i am interested.

wow... small business is the backbone of this nations economy. It’s also the least capable of surviving an economic downturn like this one. The corporate socialism, only supplies the money to keep a company’s payroll going for 10 weeks. The socialism is only given if the company uses it to make payroll, rent or other specified expenses. It will take people off of unemployment and back to getting their benefits and paychecks. It’s the most thoughtful program to support small business and it’s workforce in the history of this nation. A large billion dollar multi national company can get money easily. Small business, the majority, can’t in times like these. It’s disappointing that people just post angry ****, instead of thinking about all of the business in this county with less than 500 employees. Odds are your friends and family that have lost their jobs within the last three weeks will be getting a paycheck to stay home for the next ten weeks, instead of collecting unemployment. FWIW businesses have to rehire all of their staff’s if they want the money. It’s not a cash gift. It’s for hard working Americans to stay employed and take care of their families. 🇺🇸 It’s about time it goes to the little guys/girls, and not publicly held companies.

Nothing was done without guidance. If you went to the SBA.gov site, it was very clear what you needed to collect and have prepared when the program went live. It took me ten minutes to fill out the form and another fifteen to upload the PDF’s required. There were, I think, over one hundred million dollars given to small business that applied today from B of A alone. I’m not sure why you had to call anyone. I was prepared and it was easy. Respectfully, I was over prepared and had about a dozen extra things to upload in the additional items box.

The first round will last, maybe through next week. Don’t wait! Spend as much time as you need to this weekend and get it done. The internet isn’t closed on Saturday.

If you’d like to talk, DM me and I’ll email you a list of what you need. If you currently use a bank, they will be happy to process your loan. Anyone can DM me and I’ll send you a list happily. Have a wonderful night.

You're wrong on all accounts. There was a lot of requests that were asked of BOA. Not a dollar given bud.

That's one bank with a strict set of guidelines about who can apply. I was over prepared as well, had all the forms filled out and our **** in order. It's a **** show as the guidance was given around 7pm last night and the program was supposed to go live at midnight. You could only use BOA if you have a small business acount with them, a line of credit and/or current loan.

That wasn't in the bill, that wasn't in the guidance, that wasn't written anywhere. that was a BOA restriction that was up to them because they weren't given any guidance about who to accept applications from so they made their own rules.

The SBA.gov site has an application then tells you to go to a bank that is part of the 7(a) lender program. Don't confuse guidelines about who can apply with guidance about how the banks should try and distribute the money. one of those things is not like the other

already had it filled out hahaha. Trust me that was a much easier form than the disaster relief grant form we filled out earlier in the week.

Unfortunately we use Wells Fargo for our biz account. They don't have a website to apply through yet. Its a **** show.

Didn't mean to come off like a ******* my last reply. Just frustrated by things. I do appreciate your willingness to help though, very cool. It was just haphazard because they're trying to get the money in peoples hands right away. I get it, but still frustrating AF

I don’t bank with B of A. My bank had only one rule. You had to be a current customer. I don’t know your banks requirements, but mine followed the SBA’s rules. No money was given today, but mine will have my funds in my account early next week as long as the required paperwork supports my loan request. DM me, I’m happy to help in any way I can.

BOA is who i use personally, but Wells Fargo is the biz account. They're no where close to knowing what to do right now. Just tell us to check the website often hahaha.

Really?

I am completely in favor of this massive act of socialism, but I think people should be honest about it.

I'm happy that the OP was able to APPLY today, but the entire process is a ****e-show and nobody got any money today.

ALL the government has to do is say "one week" and then deliver, and people would start to believe them again.

Promising "Friday", sending out guidance to banks on Thursday night, and then failing to hand out the money on time is just par for the course.

I have Wells Fargo as well for business. If you go on Bank of America website you can try there. There are also other lenders that aren't your normal bank and we might have to go that route. I'm a franchise and our corporate office did a webinar on it today. I should be able to send some link to help as well. From what they said if the lender isn't advertising it already or making it easy on the website they are already behind.

Have to be a business account customer at this time to apply through BOA. **** by that time WF might have their ish together to be able to help. Send over whatever you can or whatever links you have. None of it can hurt at this time, much appreciated. this forum is better than the SBA customer service lines and the banks.
