Oregon was flat cuz team could tell Cristobal was out

When u don't have a QB or good O cord nothing works. Weren't u willing for Diaz to fire everyone to make it work? He fired Blake Baker and y'all said that it wasn't his defense? I'm not going to sit here and say that Mario can't possibly fail and he shouldn't have lost that game....cause I'm not u I keep it real. He could fail here if he loses sfla elites to the typical schools (same like every other fired um coach)

If he can't stop Saban from cherry picking he will suffer the same as the ones before. Also I won't ride the coat tails like u off the bridge....if he messes up I will call him out on it. Utah game planned well and out coached those guys twice. That had happened to Diaz numerous times and u would disappear. When Mario gets outcoached I will be here and if we got Lane he would get outcoached to. The roster needs mega help because guys like u thought Flagg was Ray Lewis.

Lmao at the mental gymnastics it takes to blame it on a bad QB and OC in year 5 of him being associated with the program.

Doesn’t he have a freshman quarterback on the bench that was higher rated than TVD ? Aren’t you the guy who always complaining about the young guys not playing but ignore that fact now?

Like almost every time a very bad outcome happens. Multiple factors work together just at the right time. It's like the perfect storm. You cannot ignore the effect of all those loud rumors on the team performance, they still have access to social media. But equally important that Utah is a very good team and a very bad match for Oregon. More physical and more disciplined. Besides, Mario did a bad job with in his QB room.

Bingo. If this was UM getting rolled there would be zero excuses allowed. Phanbase would call the coach a corch
to me same result two times so close together equals better team and coaching isn't going to change it. look Oregon has a bad QB. it is hard to out scheme and out coach equal or better teams when you have a terrible QB.

I just wonder why our Phanbase uses logic and execuses when it comes to other teams but dont when it comes to our own misfortune like missed field goal in the last few seconds, multiple dropped hints in the end zone, 60+ yard reception when a safety is covering a running back etc.

The logos are different. They can ignore issues at Oregon and just say well thats Oregon. Realize that Mario has been a head coach for 10 seasons now. He is what he is. Those issues will follow him here. Imagine the scenario of having an Anthony Brown type at QB in year 4 when the path to the playoff is clear. All that "he won 10 games with that QB" understanding people are giving him now because it isn't happening to us will be long gone.

who is the highest rated QB on their roster? looks like ty Thompson (maybe) who is a true freshman. wonder why he didn't get any burn.

Mario picked Anthony Brown over another highly rated guy who started most of last year so that kid transferred to Tech. Kid was ok. Not the running threat that Brown is but he's young while Brown is/was a finished product. He botched that QB room and we saw the results. Mario sought Brown out. Got him out of the transfer portal.

oh they also have jay Butterfield who was ranked above TVD. ironic how we got our QB room straight finally but the defense is killing us.

Yea that dude would be transferring with Lane or Mario 100%. But but but his IQ and his mvps in HS....he will be a good one blah blah blah. When we told them from day 1 a 4.9 40 is a huge red flag
the fact he is overweight instead of obsessed with proving doubters wrong is troubling

Just listened to Mario’s presser. They kept pressing him about the Miami job and he wouldn’t give in. He comin.
Yall want this loser. He is nothing more than a taller version of Manure Debacle. Lord another 3 years of mediocre football and then we will run him out. Rinse wash. repeat.

Another unintelligent being who thinks Manure is the same as a coach who's 4-1 vs. the Top 10, has three Pac-12 Championship appearances and emerged victorious in two of them, and doesn't have the nation's 50th ranked recruiting class...but yes, EXACTLY like Manny.

I'm not even a Mario slurper but MAN some of you need to either actually watch football, or go back to school.

I always think the elites including us at UM (when we were on top) always won with Joe's......we saw the NFL and our first rounders household names and hall of famers. Every team that is in power throws money at recruiting and good staffers who recruit....along with smart guys but they get their kids. When we were at our best we beat u one on one....our matchups we're better than our rivals....bama and the higher powers have better matchups than the rest. The first HC who stops sfla from leaking blood wins big here. Can Lane or amario bring me Earl littler Jr........who can change that kids mind? I think Mario has a better chance too.......I think Lane has failed alot and is riding those bama coat tails. If he calls plays as a coord yes take him....leading men nah. Bring me an alpha like Mario and if he fails he fails....but it's a best hire since Butch imo.
You're seriously discounting the importance of quality coaching. Yes, you undoubtedly need blue chips to win at the highest level, but that's not all you need. You need the X's and O's and preparation to put that talent in the best position to succeed. How many years did we watch our offenses underperform because we were running an antiquated system? How did our defenses look under Mark Doritos only to see the defense immediately turn around when we got a 4-3 in here? How many years did we look at the Coastal division as we sat atop the recruiting rankings only to finish third or fourth almost every year?

If talent was the end all then Clemson would again be in the ACCCG. Ohio State would be B1G champs. USC wouldn't be in a similar rut as Miami. You need coaches to put players the best position to succeed.

Nick Saban is a beast on the trail, but he's also a wizard on defense. Similar to Belichick, he takes away what you do best on offense and makes you beat him another way. Before he won every recruiting title, segments were about his coverage schemes that confused all opposing QBs.
