Oregon was flat cuz team could tell Cristobal was out

I really don’t understand how you out of anyone can talk. You made excuse after excuse for Manny, you were never this critical. In fact, when @RVACane was banning Manny supporters for defending him after the fsu lost, you were nowhere to be found. You slowly came back in making little comments.

That’s quite a story.

Fair enough. That's why I asked for your opinion. You are always straight forward and consistent with your message. I agree with your philosophy in a general sense but there are a few other things I would add. Mainly the fact that coaching will most certainly come into play sooner or later. Yes I love the idea of loading up on talent but we also need the coaching in order to develop and to put them in the right system etc.

College football especially in today's game is about having a solid, well built infrastructure in place where all of the above are properly addressed. The only question that is truly relevant regarding Mario is the following. Does the AD feel that his upside as a GameDay coach justifies making him one of the top paid coaches in the game? He already knows that Mario is an elite recruiter. Is Mario the type of coach that excels at program building? Is Mario the type of CEO that could be trusted to choose and to hire the very best coordinators and staff that he can surround himself with? Is Mario the type of CEO that will ensure that the program has the proper infrastructure in place to have us competing with the game's elite? If the answer is yes then by all means make a competitive offer and hire the man.

You say Lane Kiffin has failed a lot and that statement is not unfair. However does it paint an accurate and honest picture of what Lane Kiffin could potentially bring to the table here? I'm not so sure. Kiffin has had his rough spots. No one can deny that. In my opinion I feel that he has done a very good job of staying the course, learning from failure and continuing to grow as a coach. I believe that Kiffin has come a long way from the time he was fired from USC and left on the tarmac. That type of embarrassing defeat/failure would have crushed a lesser man but Kiffin kept it going and continued to keep learning and improving his craft as an offensive minded head coach. I think Lane Kiffin could do very well here.

One more thing.....You used Earl Little Jr. as an example of a player the next coach should try to flip. Are you that high on the kid or were you just using his name as an example?
Lane is an upgrade over Manny....I just used EL as an example. If the next coach knows that recruiting is important he goes an get EL (or tries to). If we hired Diaz or Golden I'm sure they would be intimidated and not even visit the kid. Let's see what Mario does

He got manhandled by the same team twice. He's in year 4 and the best QB he recruited/developed for this season is that guy?

That's on him. There's nothing wrong with pointing out his shortcomings. Hopefully he's savvy enough to find an OC that's a QB maximizer once he gets to Miami.

Good way to put it - it'll prove early on if he's willing to adapt to the personnel we have, maximize our strengths and minimize our weaknesses.

I just have a problem with anyone who's trashing him on two games against Utah compared to the underlying body of success he's earned and maintained out west. Manny couldn't lick the sweat off his balls, they're that far apart...and I'm not even saying Mario is elite.

This is a rebuild fans need to realize that. When u trotting out Flagg as your linebacker in a Miami jersey.....that's terrible. The roster needs hella work. We got some guys but who can say with their account on the line that we have some top ten talent on this roster.
any real coach would kick flagg to the curb. Mario, lane, etc will walk in and see a g5 kid who is overweight? he should have a chip on his shoulder.

This is your attempt to excuse Mario’s team losing by a combined score of 76-17 to the same inferior Utah team within a span of two weeks?

Try harder.
They got curb stomped twice. Defenders weren't trying to tackle anyone. The OC is horrible. Oh and a player called Mario a fraud. Meanwhile Lane is begging UM to let him bring Bama's S&C down here. You can't make this up.

Yea because kids practice and bust their asses all year long just to "pack it up" IN A CHAMPIONSHIP GAME"because the coach is possibly leaving? I don't think that even happens. I think that a myth. Every kid on that field would bust their asses for one another with or without a coach on that field

How many times have you ripped an existing UM coach for losing games with this kind of talent disparity?

You’re right it is almost unbelievable.

When u don't have a QB or good O cord nothing works. Weren't u willing for Diaz to fire everyone to make it work? He fired Blake Baker and y'all said that it wasn't his defense? I'm not going to sit here and say that Mario can't possibly fail and he shouldn't have lost that game....cause I'm not u I keep it real. He could fail here if he loses sfla elites to the typical schools (same like every other fired um coach)

If he can't stop Saban from cherry picking he will suffer the same as the ones before. Also I won't ride the coat tails like u off the bridge....if he messes up I will call him out on it. Utah game planned well and out coached those guys twice. That had happened to Diaz numerous times and u would disappear. When Mario gets outcoached I will be here and if we got Lane he would get outcoached to. The roster needs mega help because guys like u thought Flagg was Ray Lewis.

Yea that dude would be transferring with Lane or Mario 100%. But but but his IQ and his mvps in HS....he will be a good one blah blah blah. When we told them from day 1 a 4.9 40 is a huge red flag
