Tough place to win this time of year, plus the altitude difference between SLC and Eugene could be a factor.

Good point about the altitude difference. 4000 feet is the difference.

I remember when I was a kid hearing about Mile High Stadium and how that was some factor in NFL games. Having never been to any kind of mountain at that time and growing up in FL, it made no sense.

Fast forward a few years, going skiing and summer trips to the mountains, I noticed a difference. As an adult, most certainly.

Playing at full speed, you don't catch your breath as fast. These being athletes in their prime, it's not a deal breaker, but it is an advantage to a degree.
